06.01.2022 Good Morning Loyal customers, Our Mittagong Store will be moving to a new location 2 blocks over. the new address will 100/102 Bowral rd Mittagong. They will be closed on Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of August. There may be some delays in our normal dealings and possibly some confusion on which way to come in but we will try and get things running at our best as quick as possible

05.01.2022 Here is a small selection of retaining wall jobs completed with products from Hayters Timber & Paving. There are numerous materials available nowadays that can be used for retaining purposes like timber, dry stack blocks, core fill concrete blocks and even concrete sleepers ! Keep in mind with changes to the NSW Building Code a couple of years back, most walls can now only be built up to 600mm high before council approval is required and usually it must be 900mm off boundary lines. If you need to build higher than 1000mm, you will require engineering. For more information, contact your local council who can put you in touch with the relevant authorities.

02.01.2022 Fire pit you ask ? These have become a very popular addition to the outdoor entertaining areas in back yards right across the country, There is an absolute myriad of fire pits available nowadays from basic mass produced metal pits to custom made top end works of art. Here is just a small selection of pits found online to help you find your ideal fire pit. ... Just remember that if masonry blocks are used, you should leave a gap, approx. 500mm, between the blocks and where the fire / heat will be. Otherwise with excessive heat over time, the moisture will continue to dry out of the blocks and they can eventually fail. How long they last really depends on how often and how much heat is present. Speak to one of our staff today and they can discuss some options for your fire pit.
