24.01.2022 Today I’m back at the desk after the Christmas break, and normally I would be posting images and words about how to beautifully decorate your home, but today I just couldn’t bring myself to do that when so many people have lost their homes, and even more have been evacuated and living in temporary accommodation. Our country is in a crisis, there is no doubt about that. The silver lining in this terrible disaster is the community response. I don’t think anyone could have ever imagined how strong the Australian Mateship spirit really is. When we can’t find comfort in our leaders, and least we can find comfort in one another.

17.01.2022 Berry is one of those perfect weekend getaways with a little something for everyone. I have been visiting Berry for a number of years now, and even more since my sister and her family relocated from Sydney. On a recent trip to Berry I visited one of my favourite homeware stores, Few and Far. No weekend away is ever complete without a spot of homewares shopping (in my opinion!) and this beautiful homewares store is one of the best. They honestly do have something for everyone from unique glassware and amazing scented candles to the most beautiful coffee table books. It is definitely worth taking your time to mill through their gorgeous pieces. Where is your favourite homeware store?

13.01.2022 Looking back at the time I was a model.. And didn’t I nail the ‘awkwardly flicking through a magazine whilst making sure my toddler doesn’t destroy anything’ look. This was a snippet from when I was lucky enough to have my work and our home showcased in @homebeautifulmagazine... We no longer live in this home, but it will always hold a special place in our family’s heart. Now we are in our ‘forever home’ which means a new design project to take on! See more

13.01.2022 Well would you look at that, I won!! Very excited to share that @haywardandco won best sole trader at the Local Business Awards last night! Feeling proud as punch right now and very thankful to have such wonderful and supportive clients, family and friends who all helped make this happen. I just asked the boss if we could take the afternoon off to celebrate, she said No chance, get back to sourcing!. Perhaps I’ll pop the champagne tonight instead.

01.01.2022 As much as we are done with having babies in our house, I can’t help but still love a good nursery! Just before bubba comes home and everything is set in place. There are no dirty nappies in sight, everyone is still sleeping soundly, and the excitement to meet your little one is overwhelming. What’s your absolute must in a nursery? Mine is a comfy chair that you can easily sleep in!
