24.01.2022 You know what.... ? My fave thing in the world is reminding myself how awesome it was to be a kid. I had a book all about Banjo Patterson. I'd sit and read it every day. There were no phones and tech in the bedroom. Just books and my art supplies. I'd spend hours being creative. I grew up in Cape Schanck, Victoria, AUSTRALIA. I’m so proud to be Australian and super thankful to the elders for allowing me to grow up on their precious land. I used to have these strange dreams, elders meeting me and telling me ’your welcome’. So singing these Aussie songs, it's not the white Aussie way I think about, it's the extreme thanks to the indigenous people welcoming me onto theirland for allowing me to be who I am today. THANK YOU I Dedicate this to John Williamson and MOST of all SLIM DUSTY for teaching us what's really important. RIP Slim xx
