20.01.2022 As per our advice to members by email today, Nepean FA have confirmed their guideline of ONE (1) spectator per player at all venues. Please abide by this regulation and follow any requests by hosting Club Officials, who are, after all, volunteers trying to get us some football in this messed-up year. Do the right thing.

17.01.2022 Updated training guidelines below. Teams can now train in groups of up to 20, but still non-contact with social distancing.

17.01.2022 COVID -19 - WHAT HAPPENS IF Were receiving a few questions around what happens if a person or persons in a team have been told to self isolate. Unfortunate...ly, its likely that this question will become more prevalent over the coming weeks due to the recent Sydney outbreaks. As a team or a club, first thing to do is not panic! If one or a few people in your team need to self-isolate, you dont need to all self-isolate unless youve been in close contact (as describe by NSW Health) and are displaying Coronavirus symptoms. There is no need to forfeit your match at this stage, unless of course thats what youve decided to do, collectively, as a team in which case the normal forfeit penalties will apply. Personally, your first action should be to contact the National Coronavirus hotline on 1800 020 080. You should never take your advice from anyone other than those qualified to provide it. Our information issued to all clubs prior to the competition starting was : If multiple team members become infected (or if there are many in your team who are self-isolating at the same time and leaves your team unable to field at least 7 players) then we imagine that it may require the team to stand down from competitions until cleared to resume. Unfortunately the reduced timelines that we have to conduct our season would necessitate that the team would forfeit their fixtures while they cant compete. In these cases, if the club provides medical certificates for the affected players, we would waive the forfeit fine, on the presentation of the requested medical certificates confirming either CV or a negative result. Remember, continue to practice good handwashing, sanitizing and social distancing, don't hang around before & after training & games and don't hand-shake, hug or huddle... all these simple measures go a long way to keeping infection down and everyone safe. 12.01.2022 Any players or spectators who have visited Victoria or one of the reported case locations in NSW (https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates) should NOT attend matches or training, and should get tested and self-isolate for 14 days from their visit regardless of a negative result. Once this period is past if they display no symptoms they can return to training and matches. Given recent developments it is very important that social distancing and Football NSW gui...delines are followed at all Nepean FA venues including one (1) spectator per player limits, please ensure your team and supporters follow the guidelines. We wanted offer our support, so the Hawks committee voted to offer a donation from our 2021 season discretionary funds. Shared links to their fundraisers are in this and the below if any of our members would like to donate.

Hopefully these will be delivered before our first games on April 17th.

01.01.2022 A reminder to our players to enjoy their weekend safely.

01.01.2022 Nepean FA, after meeting with Football NSW and other Associations are happy to confirm that Nepean FA activities will not be affected in any way by recent NSW H...ealth recommendations for community sport. Associations, regardless if they run across multiple LGAs or not, are essentially considered their own zone, and can therefore continue to run as is. Football NSW has made it clear that the intention is that Sydney based groups dont travel (unless exempted to do so) to regional areas and visa-versa. However, please do not rest too easy. Community sport continues to be under the spotlight and reviewed, so we need to continue to do all we can to manage Covid-safe practices such as the measures already in place in your club's Covid-19 safety plans. Social media is currently producing many images where social distancing is clearly not being practised or given enough regard, If community sport continues to disregard Covid-safe plans and measures, we risk being shut down, so please, stay vigilant and follow the directions given to you by your club or host club and continue to employ Covid-safe measures.
