25.01.2022 "There are a few things in life so beautiful they hurt; Swimming in the ocean while it rains, reading alone in empty libraries, the sea of stars that appear when you’re miles away from the neon lights of the city, bars after 2am, walking in the wilderness, all the phases of the moon, the things we do not know about the universe, and you." - Beau Taplin. Happy Valentines Day honeys! With a special shoutout to my best buddy who supports me every step of the way - including doing beach shoots like this one What are you doing today? We need some inspiration! Let me know

24.01.2022 What is your dream ring? Do you have one? I'd love to know! I'm an opal/moonstone kind of gal. Love me some ethereal, forest fairy vibes. I can't get over these incredible rings from our latest wedding, serving intricate glowy goodness ... #weddingfilmmaker #weddingrings #weddingringset

20.01.2022 Wedding Teaser Time Can't get over these two cuties. Suzie + Michael had the most stunning forest wedding - those trees, that dress ... These two honeys made the most of their gorgeous venue with a two night stay on site, with their closest friends and family. 10/10 do recommend. Not only do your wedding celebrations with the people you love last longer, but you can also make them cook you a pancake breakfast and other such essential wedding day tasks I kid, I kid, but booking a beautiful BnB for your special day is a major win. It makes your prep time look and feel beautiful, and theres something relaxing about removing the distractions of every day home life - no one wants to be reminded of their unfolded laundry while getting ready! All in all, this day was gorgeous - just like the newlyweds! . . . #weddingtips #queenslandweddingvideo #queenslandweddingvideographer

20.01.2022 Always a total sucker for the details Indie and Harper

17.01.2022 I LOVE a picnic. And I mean, really really LOVE them. So much so that my beautiful mum bought us the most decked out wicker picnic hamper for Christmas. Tom and I love doing picnic dinners, picnic brunches, beach picnics, hiking picnics, even fairylight picnics on our own balcony! We have never been the 5-star restaurant types, and love to explore new places outdoors, so loading our backpack full of cheese, fresh bread, and comfy blankets, is perfection. ... I think picnics are super underrated as a wedding day option - whether its an intimate couple-only affair in an incredible location, or a full-blown big wedding picnic (think lawn games, cute blankets, fairylights hanging from the trees and free flowing bubbles ) picnics are both an aesthetic and relaxed vibe for your reception. And who could say no to fresh bread and cheese?! If I haven't convinced you yet... my final argument in favor of picnics = cupcake towers. @baked180 I'm looking at you All those in favour of picnics say I! #SayPicnicOneMoreTime! #WhitsundayWedding #MackayWedding

13.01.2022 LONG POST AHOY Oh hey! It’s me Taylor! Your friendly neighbourhood filmmaker. It’s been a while since I introduced myself If you can’t find me, make sure you check the dog beach, because I’m probably on the shore chasing my pup as the sun sets. I believe in making the most of life, taking spontaneous leaps into unknown adventures, and loving hard on the people around me. My parents instilled a deep love of travel in me in fact, I skipped Grade 5 entirely to travel A...ustralia in a van with them! I’m happy to say my Dad’s sense of adventure has stuck with me, and I am always itching to be off exploring new places and having new experiences. I fell in love with filmmaking unexpectedly while travelling in Nepal. I am originally a marketer and event planner by trade and I never thought I would find my passion behind the camera. I made a travel film (not my finest work but the memories are still golden ), and it was all over from there. I started consuming hours upon hours of content to learn to be a better filmmaker, I filmed random things around the house, and began creating videos for my 9-5. While filmmaking came as a surprise, working on weddings was something I had always envisioned. I adore everything they represent. From the small precious moments to the big emotional ones, the carefully crafted details to the stunning locations, they are my jam. I just thought i'd be planning them - rather than filming them! Inevitably my two loves collided and slowly but surely, Hazel Field began to form. Now I’m crafting highlight films for the wild, fun-loving and free-spirited honeys in #Mackay, #AirlieBeach, the #Whitsundays, and greater #Queensland. It’s pretty special to capture a milestone like that in people’s lives and I can’t wait to serve more beautiful couples in 2021!
