24.01.2022 The team from Pfeiffer Cranes have made a new addition to the fleet with the recent purchase of a new Grove 150t all terrain crane. We are proud to boast a long running relationship with the Pfeiffer Cranes team- a relationship which has proved to be a successful one on the many projects we have teamed up on. We look forward to seeing this new addition out and about kicking goals on projects throughout Tasmania!

17.01.2022 One of our many highly respected clients! Complete Renovations and Constructions put their twist on the construction game within Tasmania undertaking some incredibly impressive property transformations. Kim and the team boast an impressive portfolio of renovated properties throughout the Launceston area- many of which HB Engineering are proud to have added our touch. The team from Complete Renovations are a great down to earth bunch and are a pleasure to deal with. Their work has to be seen to be believed and we are proud to be able to contribute to what is always a great finished product!

14.01.2022 Doing our bit to make it rain! Over recent years HB Engineering have been involved with work across several irrigation schemes throughout Tasmania. With the roll out of the Scottsdale Irrigation Scheme well underway, we were brought in to the fold to supply components throughout various sections of the scheme. ... Teaming up with Hudson Civil Products we have been working tirelessly on the assembly and installation of over 100 property outlet pipe assemblies as well as the fabrication and installation of the outlet enclosures. These outlet enclosures have evolved over the years and are of a design that has been put together between HB Engineering, Hudson Civil Products and Tasmanian Irrigation collectively. The enclosures are fully insulated which eliminates any risk of outlets freezing over the colder months and allows for livestock grazing in the area without the risk of damage to the sensitive pipework components within. We can happily say that this design has been perfected over time and we are incredibly proud to offer a top quality product that exceeds client requirements and expectations. Our workshop team has been incredibly busy with the assembly of the pipework components which bridge the gap between the irrigation main lines and the farmer, with all outlets assembled and tested in house to ensure quality control is maintained, thus reducing down time during the commissioning stage. Outlet enclosure fabrication has seen HB Engineering expand our workforce to meet project requirements with a lot of aluminium and cladding happening the guys are working like a well oiled machine. Following assembly and fabrication we have also been installing these items. We have been making good use of our crane truck to get this happening. The crane makes the installation incredibly efficient and we are able to take a one-stop approach to the installation, eliminating the need for additional plant to head to site. We are proud to say that the team working on this particular project have risen to the occasion, yet again, and delivered a great end product. The irrigation industry certainly growing in Tasmania and we are proud to have been able to contribute to the future proofing of farms within our great state!

12.01.2022 A Christmas present for the MTB community! HB Engineering, just like so many Launceston businesses, had a very busy December ensuring that our customers projects were completed ready for the Holiday season. This one was a bit of something different for the HB team- The manufacture and installation of two bridges on the mountain bike tracks at Hollybank!... The team from RMB Constructions lead the charge with the footing installation for the bridges which has ensured that there is a tough, solid base beneath whilst we got to work on the fabrication in our workshop. Because of the dense bush surrounding the area these bridges were designed to be a bolt together item which meant that getting the bridges from the end of the road to their location would be a much easier task. Thanks to members of the Launceston Mountain Bike Club the bridge components were transported to their final destination (by hand!) and installed by our site team. A great end result which will make the going a bit easier and allow riders of all abilities a chance to get out and about on the trails. Another great local project that we have enjoyed being a part of!

10.01.2022 Recently we headed South to help out the team from Andrew Walter Constructions with a project at Blue Lagoon Christian Camp & Conference Centre. Blue Lagoon has a large recreation area and wanted to add to their attractions with the addition of an abseiling tower. Working closely with the team from AWC throughout the design phase our workshop team was able to fabricate the two tower units as well as the footbridge that would provide access to the towers. This process ensured... that the client needs were met whilst also taking into consideration site install as well as transport requirements from our Rocherlea workshop to site at Dodges Ferry. Our workshop team produced a great end product which was able to be transported to site. Upon arrival to site, our site team were tasked with the welding off of the two shipping containers which have formed the base of the abseiling tower. Once the shipping containers were installed our two towers were positioned on top of the containers and married together. With careful planning in the design stage the entire erection and completion of the installation works was completed within one day and, most importantly, in the safest way possible! It was a pleasure to be able to help out AWC with this project and the final product speaks for itself. We have enjoyed being able to do our part on a project that will provide entertainment for people for many years to come!

07.01.2022 We are proud to be supporting such a great initiative. Well done to Studentworks for their efforts mustering up support from their neighboring businesses!

05.01.2022 Out with the old, in with the new. HB Engineering have recently been engaged by the team from Darcon to fabricate and erect the steel work for the new Ambulance Station at Campbell Town which will replace the old station at the other end of town. In addition to the main station building we have also supplied and installed the structural steel work for the new residence at the rear of the station. The team from Tazitech Drafting took care of the detailing of this one for us w...hich meant that the fabrication and installation process was as smooth as possible. Working closely with our client throughout the installation process whilst maintaining and exceeding requirements that govern the way things are done under Covid-19 guidelines proved to be smooth sailing. Covid-19 has certainly posed some challenges but HB Engineering have been able to consult with all clients and adapt the way we conduct our works to ensure that project delivery is maintained to a high standard, all the while maintaining the highest standard of health and safety. A cutting edge design on a fully functional building will ensure a great looking end product with all the functionality required by our first responders!

04.01.2022 A little number that we are proud to have been involved with. There is nothing better than being able to contribute to the broader community!
