The CSIRO Synergy Research Facilty at Black Mountain Canberra, head contacted by Laing ORourke. Over 250t of steel incorporated into stairs, roof and wall framing and the black exhaust towers which are now a defining feature of the Black Mountain Skyline.

16.01.2022 Our Second Stadium for 2017 is the new Wagga Wagga Multipurpose Stadium. Our clients Wagga City Council and Zauner Constructions. We have started erection of steel at the seating end of the structure. Construction of the remainder of the framework is due to commence later in July. We are proud to be a part of the supply of some terrific new infrastructure for our broader Riverina Community.

The health and safety of our staff, clients, suppliers, their families and the bro...ader community is paramount. We have enacted a policy on the Coronavirus situation to this effect. Our business is currently engaged by CPB Contractors to deliver structural steel for the new Coffs Harbour Hospital, due to start in April. Delivery of Infrastructure such as this is vital for NSW. Our business along with the support of many local contractors has delivered structural steel from our home in Narrandera to many key government projects in the defence, education, health and correctional services sectors. Please respect our control measures during this time, so we can continue to deliver our services to these important sectors. 10.01.2022 Hutchins Bros is proud to announce we have been awarded the contract to supply and erect the structural steel for Qantas Airlines new Group Training Facility at Mascot, Head Contracted by ADCO Constructions. The centre will house 14 flight simulators, 10 static cockpit devices, an emergency procedures hall with a pool of water for training, aircraft cabin mockups and classrooms. When operational the facility will provide training resources for 2000 pilots and 3600 cabin crew.

09.01.2022 After announcing the news about our exciting Qantas Project, we were devastated to be told just a few short weeks later that the project was being terminated by Qantas due to funding issues related to the COVID-19 crisis. We knuckled down and hunted for work to fill the hole this shock news had put in our forward work pipeline. We are happy to announce that the hole is filled. We have achieved our goal and have been contracted by long term client Buildcorp to supply Structural Steel to the New Multi-story Santa Sophia College in Box Hill. Its set to be an interesting build, our team is ready for the challenge. Check out the walk-though vid.

05.01.2022 We are proud to announce that Joss Construction have awarded Hutchins Bros the contract to supply Structural Steel for the new Circular Plastic Recycling Facility in Albury. The new facility will be the largest PET recycling facility in Australia. It will increase the amount of locally sourced and recycled PET produced in Australia by two thirds - from around 30,000 tonnes currently to over 50,000 tonnes and will create 300 jobs.
