18.01.2022 Oh my goodness. Check out this little angel. This is 6 month old Lucinda. The difference to her sleep has been transforming. From not linking cycles in the day and waking multiple times every night needing a few different props to go back to sleep, to having beautifully long naps each day and sleeping through the night. She started this transformation days after she started her plan. Just amazing how well she has taken to the changes introduced to her. Her Mum and Dad have done a stellar job too!

Get into the routine of following the same bedtime rituals each night to prepare your body for that much needed sleep. Share the Responsibility: If you are a parent to a young baby, you know that night time wakings will happen. In addition, when the little ones are ill, they tend to sleep less comfortably and look for your comfort, especially during the night. Discuss with your partner how you will manage night wakings if you are both working. In that way both of you will be able to get some sleep without complete sleep deprivation. Say Goodbye to Caffeine: Try to limit liquid intake before bed, but more importantly beverages containing caffeine (going to the loo at night also impacts a good night's sleep). Put those Phones Away: Just like the little ones having their beloved YouTube taken from them well before bedtime to ensure that they are getting into the right space for a good nights sleep, parents also need to adopt this. Many parents love to spend some time in bed scrolling through social media or even worse, trying to squeeze in some extra work before they doze off. This is not helpful at all. These devices overstimulate our eyes and brains, reduce melatonin release, and lead to not being able to drift off to sleep easily.
