25.01.2022 Hi Aqua Ex participants, I’m very sorry to disappoint you all, but this week is school swimming week at the pool and it starts at 10.00am. Last year Rowena was able to do our class earlier but due to her commitments in Balaklava this year, she is unable to change our time. So we’ll miss Wednesday but all good for Thursday evening. And if you are all going to have withdrawal symptoms, you can attend Balaklava at the following times: Tuesday at 6.30pm and Thursday at 8.15am. Otherwise, see you Thursday evening at 7pm in Hamley and back to normal next week. Sorry for any inconvenience

17.01.2022 Unfortunately there there has been a delay of progress of the building works at the pool. Unfortunately at this stage we aiming for the end of January for the upgrades to be completed.

16.01.2022 At the previous AGM, a committee was unable to be formed. Therefore the meeting has to be run again. We are asking the Hamley Bridge Community to step up and help run the pool. The positions required for the committee will be; President, Vice President, Secretary & Canteen Manager. Plus four normal committee members. The Treasurer is continuing.

07.01.2022 The Hamley Bridge Swimming Pool committee would like to thank the community for their patience regarding information from the pool. We can now confirm that the pool will aim to be open this year by Christmas. We are very excited to announce that The council will be undertaking some extensive upgrades to the swimming pool over the next few weeks, which is why we will not be open. We will try to update the community with information as we know it.

03.01.2022 Due to cooler overnight & daytime weather conditions and the need for maintenance on the filtration system at the Hamley Bridge Swimming Pool, the pool will be closed from Friday 20 March at 8pm. This is the end of the season and all going well, will re-open at the beginning of the next season in November. Thank you to all the patrons that have used the pool over the last 4.5 months and we look forward to seeing you all again when summer comes around again.
