04.01.2022 Calling All QLD Home Educators - WE NEED YOUR HELP! The HEA Queensland Advocacy group (HEAQ) has been meeting with the HEU to advocate for educational equity for Queensland Home Educators. School students can receive instruction by non-teachers, and have this reported on and included in their reports, but home schooled students are denied this opportunity. Consultation between key stakeholders in schools is the norm; but the HEU has told us that they cannot set up consultation with the home education community because this is outside their remit.
