12.01.2022 Flash Back Friday . Over 15 years of training @kateritchieofficial we have never had our photo taken together, except for this one occasion. . My late grandmo...ther suffered greatly from Diabetes losing her toes, then her foot, then eventually having her leg amputated and eventually leading to her passing away. . So in her honour I wanted to raise awareness about diabetes and the severity of the disease. . Having a family history of Diabetes and so does Kate she was more than willing to help me out. . So what we did, I trained over 50 people for Free, if they donated money to the Diabetes Australia Foundation. . Over the 12 weeks, not only did I complete 100 free personal training sessions and achieved some fantastic results that changed many peoples lives, but I also raised over $10,000 for the foundation in the process. A very proud and memorable moment. Thanks Kate for being part of it.

It's enough to get any...one motivated to train and eat better right? First up, Usain Bolt's recipe for success? For breakfast: Hash browns, fruit, apple juice and a chicken wrap from McDonalds. "It had vegetables so it was healthy," he noted in an article in the Globe and Mail Then there's Michael Phelps...Well, we've all read about his 12,000 calorie per day diet. Enjoy... a smaller amount of more expensive, quality chocolate. 2. Ask for non-chocolate gifts If your tradition is to buy chocolate gifts, buy less & give a nonfood gift, like a lottery scratchie. You end up with too much chocolate anyway. 3. Get treats out, then put them away If you are going to indulge, do it & then put away the treats, so it doesnt become a 4-day feeding frenzy. 4. Get your fix, not a fill After you eat some chocolate, stop & say... "Ive had my FIX & I can stop now. I dont need to FILL up & feel Ive overindulged." 5. 02.01.2022 Most people when they post pictures of themselves they have been on a diet restricting their calorie, looking at food as the enemy and not enjoying it and exercising excessively spending crazy hours in the gym doing loads of long boring cardio. It’s all not sustainable and maintainable. I don’t diet and don’t do crazy training workouts. This is me all year round I’m not ripped to the bone or huge but I’m not out of shape either. What I do is keep it simple and stick to the ...basics. Being consistent at the little things makes a big difference. It’s all about making exercise and eating healthy a habit a way of life.
