18.01.2022 There are some big changes coming over the next month at Head to Tail Pet Complex, as we have sold off part of the property to Wollongong Council. Firstly, Th...ank you so much to Cassie. Cassie graduated last year from Uni and after nearly 6 years with us, I’m proud to say, has gone onto a Career involving her degree. Good Luck Cassie we wish you all the best! Put simply, Head to Tail is downsizing. What will this mean to you as our clients. The Grooming Area is now down the back in the revamped Shed, which is soon to be getting a new door, so you can walk straight through the gate down a short path to the new Grooming & Boarding Kennel Office. Kellie will be Grooming Tuesday and Thursday as usual through winter, and extra days as needed. The Cattery has been reduced and also moved into the revamped Shed. The Cat pens are larger, but we only have two. Yes they are near the dogs, but they will not have to come through the loud dog area once the new door is in. The Boarding, now this is where there is big changes. We will only be taking a maximum of 25 dogs at one time. In busy times will be asking for a deposit to hold your pet’s booking. We no longer have our 5 long runs, however we will have 3 good size runs for the medium to large dogs plus an undercover run for the small dogs. So we will ensure all the dogs are exercised and have time out of their kennels every day. We are now Closed All Day Wednesday and Saturday. With all these changes, We will only be Boarding our loyal clients, so therefore have closed our books, to ensure we can look after our valued clients that have supported us. 14.01.2022 Thanks to Lauren, Bryce & Laura, who looked after the Kennels yesterday, on our busiest day of the year, so Mum & I could go to the Royal Easter Show with Tao. A long time between Royals for us, but well worth it! Team effort, conditioned by Mum, Groomed and Presented by Kellie

13.01.2022 Sussex Glamping took a big hit during December - Jan like a lot of other small businesses we had to cancel all our bookings due to the fires. Our beautiful Bell... tent was showered in ash but we were very lucky that our glamping site and our property was spared thanks to amazing firies , friends & neighbours we now have a new Bell tent bigger and better than the original ash stained one. If you have had to cancel holiday bookings due to Carona virus but would still like to go away our glamping site might be the place for you. Quiet & peaceful surrounded by alpaca, horses, roo’s and amazing bird life ! You can self isolate if you choose, all you have to bring is your food & drinks. Everything else is provided, you need never see a human unless you want to. 12.01.2022 Kennel cough still going round. My little dog who I have not taken to the dog park has kennel cough. I have taken our larger dog to the park and it seems that... she has brought it home with her and given it to our little dog. (Our vet agrees) Our big dog does not have it, fingers crossed she doesnt get it. Rang our vet and they said it is going around and they had patients in their surgery this morning with kennel cough from Dapto dog park. Our vet said it is highly contagious. See more

09.01.2022 There is now an updated post May 4th on this topic above. Health Alerts x 2 First: We are seeing a run of vomiting dogs in last 48hrs. The first Common shared a...rea seems to be around Lakelands Oval Dapto.Try to avoid that oval for some days. However, If your dog has gone to this park in last 7 days, please Don't start walking your dog in a new area as that will only spread the problem.The dogs affected seem off-colour, not themselves, then start vomiting some hours later. As yet, none have needed hospitalisation, just some strong doggy anti-vomit medication and dietary support. (and NO, we don't think it has anything to do with Covid-19 etc).. Happy for this post to be shared if you know of anyone who uses this park area and/or whose dog appears off-colour this week..The alert is purely to help prevent as many pets from becoming unwell where possible. 04.01.2022 We are still open and operating in these trying times. However, we have reduced our Kennel & Cattery Hours and will now be closed all day, Wednesday and Saturdays. We will still be Grooming Monday to Friday by Appointment, until we are informed differently. We are following all the COVID 19 recommendations for disinfecting closely.
