After a testing first three rounds, Josie put together a stellar final round to win her 18th Ladies Club Championship title ... Special congratulations also go to Kate Wilkie (Runner up), Carol Dwyer (B Grade Champion), Di Stark (C Grade Champion) and Josie Ryan once again (Amy Pincott Trophy). Today our ladies held their annual Pink Charity Day, raising money for the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Program Although the day looked a little different this year with COVID restrictions, it was amazing to see all the ladies out on the course, dressed in their best pink outfits and supporting such an amazing cause. Massive thanks to Jamie Hill from Property Today, who not only donated $1,000 to the cause, but also donned a pink wig and tutu on the 18th to ...tee off for the ladies. The Finals will be played at Caloundra Golf Club this Sunday 20th September, with the first of seven matches beginning at 9am. It would be great to have some fellow members cheering them on.... 07.01.2022 The first two rounds of the 2020 Men’s and Ladies Club Championships were held over the weekend In the Men’s Championship, Headland Pennant captain Sean McGill has a two-shot lead after a flawless par round on Sunday followed his three-over on Saturday (75,72 - 147). In the Ladies, defending champion Josie Ryan is in a tussle with the consistent Kate Wilkie. After the first 36 holes, Josie (83,86 169) and Kate (84,85 169) are locked together atop the leaderboard. ... The final 36 holes will be played this coming Saturday and Sunday, and what an exciting few days it will be! Check out the ‘Club Championship’ icon in the Headland app for all the leaderboards.
