17.01.2022 To our treasured clients I thank you as always for your unwavering support and loyalty. I would like to put up today that it is business as usual but that’s just not the case! There are some changes.. Here are just a few- ... * The salon will remain open for as long as it is practical and safe to do so. * We are following all guidelines to ensure the cleanliness, sanitation and safe distancing of all clients. (Check out the new station in comments) * Unfortunately I may have to reschedule your appointment times to create space for less people in the salon and time to clean accordingly. * Appointment availability may be more limited than usual. * Any facial beauty treatments at this moment will not available until further notice (waxing, eyebrow tinting). We request from you... * You adhere to all the health and safety measures put in place as in feeling unwell/illness/travel ect to keep yourself and all of us around you safe and well. * You arrive at your exact appointment time, not earlier, please wait outside or in your car until then. * Do not bring anyone with you to the appointment, no children, partners, friends as they will be asked to leave. * If you are not having a colour service, we request you shampoo your hair before you come. * If you are at all unsure or concerned about your appointment or entering the salon then please use your own discretion to cancel and reschedule your appointment. Thanks Pat you are very clever, they are so pretty.. PLEASE NOTE.... We do try to accommodate and find appointment times for you all, with Xmas coming up and Kailey leaving on maternity leave in two weeks there is a huge amount of pressure on availablity of appointments from now on. We are a super busy, popular little salon with high number of clients...The rest of the year is very close to being 100% booked out. At this stage we have not been able to find another staff member.. so... 08.01.2022 For all our Ladies and Gents as instructed by SA health we will be closed due to the state lockdown until at least next Tuesday. All standing appointments booked over the next 6 days are cancelled. To avoid confusion we will not be rescheduling or making any new appointment times at this stage until we know more and are clear on the ok to go ahead and reopen. We absolutely will do our best to accommodate and rebook everyone who has missed an appointment or who is still nee...ding to book for their Xmas hair, so don’t worry...please be patient as we are unsure of exactly how that looks at the moment. 07.01.2022 Welcome to 2021 everyone, let us see what this year has in store and brings for us all... With a year gone that brought so many changes and challenges, it was tough and there were definitely some hard moments but I stand proud and solid in the facts that we learnt so much, we adapted, we stayed open for the entire year, continued to grow with existing and new clientele. We kept a smile on our faces, we were there to share and listen to everyone’s stories, fears and concerns, ...that you felt safe and cared for and we hopefully looked after not only your hair but that you knew we were there for you - this was only possible due to you all, you were there for us too!! Thank you!! Your support, loyalty, kindness and friendships are the reasons that we do what we do and that makes this space more than just somewhere to grab a quick haircut. With you all coming in and out day after day, week after week, month after month, I am humbled and blessed that between you all, you create a beautiful community in a little building that I am fortunate to work and create in and if the one stand out lesson learned from 2020 was that it is hands down about people, the conversations and connections that are made between us all that matter the most. Who would have thought it’s just all about the hair ..? Happy new year to everyone, let me wish you all happiness, good health, love and joy and again, thank you so much. We will be back in the salon on the 12th Jan, we just needed a moment to stop and catch our breath as it is already looking to be a busy one.. here’s to a bigger, brighter, positive year ahead. 2021 lets go..
