02.01.2022 So, for individuals who remain symptomatic post-concussion (and even some who feel OK), it would seem that there may be persistent underlying impairments in the cervical spine (neck), vestibular (balance) or physiological systems (nervous system control of different body functions such as heartbeat). Such conditions have treatment options that have been well researched and shown to be very effective. The bottom line is if you are still experiencing symptoms following a concussion - you probably don't need to - it's treatable.
