03.01.2022 Hi my name is Huyen! I am a Youth Assessment, Intake & Assessment Worker at headspace Ballarat. I always want to live a useful life by making people happy. That was the reason why I studied law and protected people with my knowledge, but then I recognised that I was not fulfilled. Therefore, I took an adventure to Australia and dedicated myself to become a social worker. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity to work with young people at headspace Ballarat. ... My role here is to effectively engage, assess, provide brief intervention and refer, if needed, to young people. The most enjoyable part of the job is that I’m here to see young people coming in when they need support in some way, and then watching them strive to trust, grow and move on. In the future, I look forward to developing my skills and expertise, and remaining passionate about working with young people!
