15.01.2022 Getting in early to let you know that we will be having a break at the end of the year. headspace Craigieburn services won't be available from the 24th December, but we'll be back on Monday 4th January. Why are we telling you now? Sometimes the holiday season is difficult, so it's worth having a plan of what to do if things feel tough. It's good to know about phone lines and online resources, but also consider your own self care strategies. We recommend writing down (or putti...ng a note in your phone) a few things; Three things you can do if you are feeling stressed Two people you can trust to talk to about what's going on, and At least one phone number or website that you could contact if you need professional support (we've put a list on the second image to help you) ---------------------- 24/7 Crisis Support: Kids Helpline www.kidshelpline.com.au 1800 55 1800 Lifeline www.lifeline.org.au 13 11 14 Support from 9am - 1am: eheadspace www.headspace.org.au/eheadspace 1800 650 890

01.01.2022 Scrolling social media too much? Too much information all at once can make your head spin! Remember to switch it all off sometimes, and do something that calms your mind. Some of our favourite ideas are: - cook something to share with your family or housemates - pick up a pencil and draw a mandala (maybe put on your fave playlist while you do it): https://www.art-is-fun.com/how-to-draw-a-mandala... - revisit a book that you loved as a kid - Sit outside and write a short story (even if it's terrible) - rearrange your bedroom or your closet See more
