24.01.2022 NAIDOC Week Always Was, Always Will Be, Aboriginal Land headspace Frankston and headspace Rosebud are proud to have links with the local Aboriginal community and continues to work with local organisations to respect and care for the land Our Cultural Lead Shane Wright has lead the Aboriginal Health Team to develop connections for young people experiencing mental health challenges through developing and experiencing culture based activities... This wall, located at Nairm Marr Djambana, was created by a group of young people connected with headspace Frankston - they were encouraged to identify animals and tracks that their own tribes connected to, as well as those on the Peninsula These have been painted under the protection of Bunjil, the creator spirit, who looks down on the land, animals and the gathering places of the people National NAIDOC #NAIDOC2020 #NAIDOCWeek2020
