24.01.2022 Our virtual groups at Headway ADP have been a great success. Participants are reconnecting with their peers via Zoom Cooking Groups and You Tube BEAT Classes. Our Participants have embraced the Virtual Groups and are transferring their learned skills directly in their homes.

21.01.2022 Our Participants ventured to Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong on Wednesday 30th October. Some of the Feedback received was "amazing, long and exhausting day but well worth it'', "'Never been before, I loved it" "'Thank you Headway ADP"'

19.01.2022 Our Participants enjoyed their first Social Development Outing since March of this year due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. On Wednesday the 22nd July our team ventured to Como Bridge Pleasure Gardens. Feedback was great, enjoying the serene surroundings and amazing views. Please check out our images of the day.

18.01.2022 Georges River National Park was the Participants choice of venue for a BBQ lunch on Wednesday 14th October 2020. Georges River National Park is located South of Sydney and is a popular place for a day out in the great outdoors. Our Participants always enjoy hanging out with their peers and they always bring their positive attitude. Here are some of great snap shots of the day :)

We support individuals to fulfill their potential in independence, inclusion and participation in their chosen community. This position is responsible for providing 1:1 support to participants in the community and in their homes. We are seeking applicants with availability to work in South West Sydn...ey and Bankstown Areas. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL HAVE: Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III in disability Experience working with people with a disability Demonstrate written and spoken communication skills Sensitivity to and experience working with people from CALD backgrounds Comprehensively insured motor vehicle + current drivers licence Mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality, Safety & You Training Certificate Mobile smart phone, first aid certificate, criminal record check clearance and ability to work flexible hours as required Salary: SCHADS AWARD Social and Community Service Level 2. THE THEME THIS YEAR IS Welcome to our World: Social Isolation after Brain Injury Many of our Participants have experienced loss, friendships and family after a brain injury. Please press on the link https://synapse.org.au/ne/brain-injury-awareness-week-2020/ HEADWAY ADP HAVE ALSO IDENTIFIED THE IMPORTANCE OF STAYING APART HELPS KEEP US TOGETHER DURING THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC. A SMALL GET TOGETHER WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY WHERE OUR PARTICIPANTS WILL BE WEARING THEIR FACE MASKS THAT WERE MADE BY THEM DURING THE BEAT PROGRAM. HEADWAY ADP ARE PROUD OF THE ACHIEVEMENTS OUR PARTICIPANTS HAVE MADE DURING THIS CHALLENGING YEAR.

09.01.2022 Nothing will stop our Participants. They have been working hard in their homes this week with the support of Headway ADP staff and running their own Cooking groups. The recipes have been designed and implemented by Headway ADP and now are being transferred and used in our Participants homes. Well done to our Participants and to our staff. We are proud of you BEAT COVID" Exciting news to come.

09.01.2022 Headway ADP Participants attended their first Social Development Outing for the year. Australia Day is always a great reason to catch up at our favourite Beach in Cronulla. A Snag or two on the BBQ and Lamingtons always go down a treat. Welcome back to all our staff and Participants, lets make 2020 the best year ever.
