24.01.2022 The staff of Healesville High School wish the graduating class of 2020 well and we thank them for their many contributions to the Healesville High School community over the past six years. This year they’ve shown determination, resilience and adaptability and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.

20.01.2022 Wow! A huge congratulations to Rhiannon who today received a brand new Xbox One, Beats by Dre Headphones and an Amazon Echo thanks to Telstra. During lockdown Rhiannon participated in a Yarra Ranges Tech School science competition. She was fortunate enough to proceed to the finals where she came equal third, winning a $400 JB HiFi gift voucher. She then went on to work with Telstra doing work experience. This special delivery today was a special thank you and congratulatio...ns on a job very well done from Telstra. In the words of Rhiannon I’m shocked! I was not expecting this.

19.01.2022 Healesville High School is setting up break out spaces in our Year Seven classrooms. After looking at the local primary schools, Mr Fisher has organised some bookshelves and comfortable seating. As part of the plan, we are also working with the local bookshop ( Verso Books ) to find new books that will engage and educate. Nina from Verso has put together a collection of great books for the school to peruse and purchase. Mr Fisher enjoyed reading through some fiction and non-fiction and discussing the choices with the staff at the shop.

10.01.2022 Dear parents, guardians, students and staff As a result of the consistently low COVID-19 case numbers over the recent past the significant changes announced by the Premier of Victoria have enabled many aspects of school operations to return to normal or at least, near normal. We still wear masks throughout the day, still focus heavily on hygiene and safety practices and students and staff members are still urged to stay at home if they are unwell....Continue reading

03.01.2022 COVID-19 update February 17 Dear parents, guardians, students and staff As I expect you may be aware, the Premier of Victoria announced at the media conference this morning that most Stage Four restrictions which have been in place since 11.59pm Friday February 12 will be removed at 11.59pm tonight.... The key points for Healesville High School are as follows: All Victorian government schools will return to on-site operations as from tomorrow (Thursday February 18). The direction regarding the wearing of face masks returns to the restriction in place since February 3. Students must wear a face mask indoors when at school, unless an exception applies. Staff must wear face masks in indoor areas of the school when not teaching. Masks must be worn outdoors if physical distancing is not possible. Visitors to school sites must also wear masks when indoors. Our goal for 2021 remains unchanged. It will be a year of academic emphasis and success. In addition, the focus on wellbeing of students and staff which was so crucial to our successes in 2020 will be maintained. The connection between school and families, and between the school and the Healesville community which was so important in 2020 remains a key focus. I look forward to students and staff returning to the school site tomorrow. Thank you again for your support and understanding. Best wishes Allan Rennick
