24.01.2022 A week is a long time in greyhound racing, but this week will be one Kevin Ward remembers for a long time. JIGGLY WIGGLY winning the last event of the day gave Kev his 8th win for the week. It all started with a stellar 5 wins and Warrnambool followed by a double at Shepparton and ended with a good win in the last at Healesville.... CONGRATULATIONS Kev, great effort. Now it must be time for a bit of sleep after all that travelling.

24.01.2022 DOUBLE CELEBRATIONS FOR YOUNG TRAINER Behind the masks there were plenty of smiles for Ben Thorneycroft and his dad, former Club President, Gary. Newly married Ben trained SPEND A DIME who saluted the judge by half a length in 17.00 when having his first Victorian start.... Handling duties on the day went to dad, Gary as Ben was too nervous, although he wasn't expecting the win he was very pleased with the result. The Thorneycroft family have a long association with the club and Healesville is very happy to welcome Georgia to the HGA family. We also hope that Ben and Georgia will have a long and happy life together and plenty of winners along the way.

The devoted Richmond Tigers fan with the team of dogs with the Richmond FC monikers is enjoying a purple patch with his team and it continued today in heat 1 of the Healesville Puppy Championship. Returning from a short spell Tiger Time clocked a smart 19.33 coming from mid field to run down Craggy Island with Mania filling the minor placing.

13.01.2022 2020 Emmett Dunne Plate winner, Midnight Monarch with trainer Chris Tilley and former Richmond great Emmett Dunne after recording a sizzling run home time of 9.95 to secure this years event. He recorded 16.64 overall. HGA is very grateful for the support received from The Cotch Crew and Ian Kennedy in the annual running of the event and are sorry that the members of the Cotch Crew are not able to join us today due to the Covid restrictions.
