21.01.2022 Healesville Primary School would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands on which we all work and meet, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. This is particularly important as we mark NAIDOC Week and celebrate this years theme of 'Always was, Always will be'. This week the students at HPS have spent time learning about our local Indigenous community and celebrating culture and country.

Will be great to show off how together Healesville Primary and Yarra Ranges SDS staff integrates students with disabilities into the HPS school community. Inclusion at it's best! Emily Derix

01.01.2022 **Transition Information** Dear Parents, We are pleased to announce that we will be able to hold onsite transition sessions beginning in November. Due to Covid restrictions, we will only be allowed to have a small number of children, with a parent, visit at a time. Shortly you will receive an email with the date and time of your child’s transition sessions. If you haven't received an email please let us know and we will send the information out to you ASAP. ... We invite parents to attend Session 1 with their child as this will be their first on-site school transition visit. Parents will need to wear masks and social distance in the classroom. Session 2 will be their second visit to school, we will meet the children at the gate and take them to the classroom. This is an independent session, and we ask that parents wait outside the school gate (wearing masks and social distancing), as we will walk the children back to the drop off zone at the end of the session. On the 8th of December, we will be holding our Prep Orientation Day, where students will find out what class they are in and get to meet their teacher. This will be another independent session where we ask parents to wait outside the school gate. We will provide more information about the uniform shop closer to Orientation Day.
