25.01.2022 Hike Donna Buang hike meeting point info Hi guys how are you all? Its exactly one week to go before the big day! We have inspected the meeting point site in Warburton on Friday and its all good to go. ... So we confirm the time of arrival is 7am for brekkie and briefing. Please be on time as we will be taking off at 7.30am sharp!!! The location of the meeting point is: RIVERSIDE PICNIC AREA located corner of Martyr Rd. and St. Johns Rd in Warburton. Refer to map and pictures below (Using GPS, easiest way to find the picnic area of meeting is to just set the St.johns Rd Warburton as your destination) Hope youve been keeping your fitness routines up and doing lots of walking! Stretching is also a good way to relieve the build up of lactic acid! We will send out next message on Thursday to remind you of the items you will need to bring and wear based on the conditions ahead.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone! Hope youre all well and dealing with the unusual summer we have been served! Given the environmental conditions that have arisen this new year, we have made a decision to postpone any hikes and nature walks until everything settles...however...2020 is also the year of the international Olympics!!!!! Tokyo 2020 ... So what better opportunity than running our own pre Olympics event! We have run such event every year of the past two international Olympics with great success! Im sure some of you remember and attended It will be a one full day event with three evenly matched teams competing for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals! As usual a super healthy brekkie, snacks and lunch will be provided for your enjoyment! Itll be a blast doing all outdoor events including javelin, shot put, discuss, distance running and more. Best of all you will have a new goal to train towards! We are considering the following dates given the weather conditions be as expected around that time of the year: Sunday March 29th Or Sunday April 5th Comment and Share please with your friends. Michael and Keith (Spots will be limited as usual)

11.01.2022 In the lead up to our Olympics Event in early Autumn let us give you a break down of what youll get up to! First of all we will divide you guys into three evenly matched teams to make the competition as tight as possible (dont worry we wont split you from your besties) For the first half of the day you will get a chance to learn and practice the techniques of the events of the Olympic competition...... -Javelin -long distance run (not that long ) -shot put -long jump -relays -hammer throw -sprints -discus ...and more! The scores will be calculated based on the average of your total team results not individual...therefore there wont be any pressure! the team will pull and support each other as a whole! Accompanied by delicious pre games brekkie, in game snacks and celebratory lunch (sounds like Gold Class ) itll be a day to really enjoy and remember! Get your buddies together and start getting super fit and strong for the event! Below we attached some pics from previous years we hosted the Olympics event! Memories!!!! Great times! Ps. 08.01.2022 Hey guys how are you all? Now with 5 sleeps to go I hope youre mostly organised with your clothing and equipment. With predictions of wet weather and quite low temperatures (making it an authentic hike experience) make sure youre well prepared. That being, definitely, definitely proper footwear or youll be sliding all the way down the mountain on your sore bottom! ... Funny, but not hiking boots or at least trail runners. A fresh pair of socks and t shirt isnt a bad idea either. Secondly, rain and wind proof jacket and warm under garment as temperatures at the summit may be close to zero. A small backpack for your water...3-4L and all the foods we provide. If you have walking poles and have access to also can bring them along. Hats. Gloves Ps. If youre in need of some of the equipment or clothing mentioned above check out Aussie Disposals, Anaconda or Kathmandu
