02.01.2022 The news of the COVID-19 outbreak around the world has presented all of us with an ever-changing set of challenges. The one thing we know that can help mitigate the spread of this virus and protect ourselves and our community is to take steps to increase our hygiene protocols and limit our exposure to those who are unwell. With this in mind, we have increased the strength and frequency of cleaning in our gym and offices. We are advising staff and visitors to follow a protoc...ol of regular handwashing, reduce contact with high touch objects and areas and avoid physical contact. We are also advising all staff and visitors to stay home if they are experiencing any symptoms of a cold/flu, if they feel unwell, if they have recently returned from overseas or have been in close contact with someone who has. Those with any symptoms or recent travel will be turned away. We will continue to provide exercise physiology services in a safe, hygienic environment. We understand however, that some of you wish to distance yourselves now and we can help you to exercise at home instead. It is normal to feel an increase in stress levels during this time. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle including a proper diet, sleep and exercise and social contact to help manage your emotions but if you feel overwhelmed talk to health worker or counsellor.
