25.01.2022 Guess what I am going to do? Harvest the mulberry leaves as they are already starting to drop. Not going to waste a good source of green vitamins! Also a tea made from mulberry leaves, goji berries and peppermint is very cooling. Great for hot days and overheating especially during menopause.

25.01.2022 Good to know what is the number of plants needed to sustain a small family.

25.01.2022 Time to change an old addictive habit? Try looking at the benefits of not smoking as a motivator to overcome it. Giving up something has to have more importance than sticking with it. Try to understand the reasons why you started in the first place - to be cool, to fit in with the group, to revel against your parents, because you were lonely?? When you start to work on the emotional triggers you will heal the need within.

24.01.2022 Sometimes we just need a little extra help to get back into balance, to listen to our body and take those actions that are healthy for us. When you want some assistance why not try some vibrational remedies which activate your own healing ability by gently reminding your whole system that there is a better way of being. Specialised remedies created using scalar wave technology (quantum physics) contain the vibrational imprints of specific body chemicals (hormones, neurotran...smitters, enzymes, vitamins, minerals etc), crystal and Angel energies, botanicals, supplements, and affirmations. 24.01.2022 Following a lot of this protocol.

24.01.2022 Thanks for sharing this Darlene. I will give it a go with my bantam eggs. It would also be great to take them travelling when refrigeration is unavailable.

23.01.2022 Meat free Monday. Try to get less animal fats into your life by creating a new habit such as no meat on Mondays. I like to have vegetables most of the time and a quick and easy meal is frying these delicious plant-based burgers then adding fresh veggies (mine are straight from the garden) for a quick stir-fry and steam. The tagine is perfect for this - a cast iron base and a ceramic top - means a meal in the one pot! Stir frying or lightly steaming vegetables breaks down the hard to digest cellulose so the nutrients are more available to the body. Chewing well to crush the cell walls of the fibrous veggies also helps.

22.01.2022 This would be a nice little treat.

22.01.2022 Time to start recycling those bottles and containers. I will use my cash to help a family in need in Bali.

21.01.2022 Are you looking after your energy field and building awareness of your connection to the quantum field so you can enhance your spirituality and live in a state of awareness and accountability? Have a listen to this podcast where Kami interviews me on all things energy and healing. I hope you lean something new and enjoy it, Lisa Nicole Throssell.

19.01.2022 It is about time! At last the healthy way of eating is on a food pyramid that is easy to understand and in the righ5 balance.

19.01.2022 Take care of yourself by limiting your exposure to harmful chemicals. Sometimes it is hard to avoid contact, such as airborne contaminants but you can be careful with what you put on your skin and into your body, especially when it comes to sensitive tissues such as the breast, underarms and intimate areas. Avoid deodorants with aluminium and tampons where chemicals and bleaches have been used on the cotton.

18.01.2022 Getting a varied diet will help to diversify the good bacteria in your gut and also lessen the chance of intolerance by not eating the same food all the time.

16.01.2022 Remember when all those people contracted HEPATITIS from brand name imported Chinese frozen berries Ahh 2015, you had some real 2020 qualities about ya! I mea...n, it was no worldwide lockdown, but you tried (btw, the woolies berries were not involved in the Hep scandal) So Frozen fruit, I think the point of you is that we don't have to import non-seasonal fruit as we can, you know, freeze the local stuff Are our freezers seasonal? Have they tried turning them on, like, all the time?? For anyone who buys frozen fruit you'll understand the frustration. Now this new brand 'Aussie Frozen Fruits' is Australian grown and privately Australian owned based in the Yarra Valley. It is only available in Woolies and being new, I don't know if/when they will be sold further afield than that. When I looked closely at the competitors, every single one was imported. It's ALWAYS better to buy Australian grown. Here's a quick summary of why for those who are late to the party Support local farmers (and their families and their communities) Avoid Hepatitis Support local manufacturing Support many Australian employees along the supply chain Eat food that is grown to a higher standard and held accountable for the safety of their food Avoid Hepatitis Ensure more money ends up in our economy SO #maketheswapaustralia #maketheswap #australianmade #madeinaustralia Aussie Frozen Fruit

14.01.2022 Looking after our air quality and making sure we arent exposed to the systematic release of toxins into our atmosphere. Not sure how we keep an eye on the polluters or the ones in change of chemtrails?

14.01.2022 Be a good citizen for all and that includes the native wildlife. Please do not use harmful chemicals around your home. They are unhealthy for you and your family and deadly to the wildlife.

10.01.2022 Interesting caterpillars are all part of natures diversity and balance.

10.01.2022 Growing your own fruit and vegetables is such a rewarding experience. The time spent in the garden to meditate, connect and be productive at the same time is so valuable.

07.01.2022 Growing your own produce is a very rewarding experience. You get to spend time with your hands in soil, feet on the earth for additional grounding, exposure to bacteria to improve your immune system, fresh air and sunlight, watching the seasons change, experiencing nature, taking time to just focus and relax, not to mention fresh veggies full of life, nutrition, vitamins and minerals. This is what I look like most nights when I pop out to the veggie patch to harvest some home grown goodness for dinner. Cant get any fresher than that!

04.01.2022 A MUST-READ!!! Banana for Breakfast anyone??? This is interesting. After reading this, you'll never look at a banana in the same way again. Bananas contain thre...e natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet. DEPRESSION: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier. PMS: Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood. ANEMIA: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia. BLOOD PRESSURE: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke. BRAIN POWER: 200 students at a Twickenham school ( England ) were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert. CONSTIPATION: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives. HANGOVERS: One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system. HEARTBURN: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief. MORNING SICKNESS: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness. MOSQUITO BITES: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation. NERVES: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.. Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and chips. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady. ULCERS: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chroniclercases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach. TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Many other cultures see bananas as a 'cooling' fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand , for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature. So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has FOUR TIMES the protein, TWICE the carbohydrate, THREE TIMES the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals.. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, 'A BANANA a day keeps the doctor away! See more
