23.01.2022 Time to start thanking some sponsors for the 2020 Redneck Rally, we leave tomorrow to meet at West Wyalong for the start on Sunday morning and the 2500km advent...ure begins. Would like to say a big thankyou to Health Allies in Orange NSW. Health Allies is a family run Osteopathic clinic in Orange NSW. Owned and operated by Anita & Brinn Jackett. The clinic has 4 Osteopaths with a ranging field of musculoskeletal interests and skills. Osteopathy focuses on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a whole. Osteopathy combines hands on manual therapy which may include massage, stretching, repetitive movements, mobilisation and/or manipulation, other interventions like equipment prescription and movement advice when clinically indicated. Health Allies are proud to sponsor Winefuelled Racing in support of Country Hope. So if you are in this area and need any of the above help please keep Health Allies in mind.

23.01.2022 We are pleased to share that during the July School holidays Kate will be available from Health Allies. Kate is an experienced psychologist and primary school teacher, who will be available for a range of educational assessments.

22.01.2022 GREAT NEWS! Health Allies will be returning to clinic next Tuesday 19th May. We are working very hard this week to reschedule ALL appointments that have been missed. All existing appointments will be changed and we will be contacting everyone to advise of new dates.... We thank you for your patience, cooperation and understanding, over what has been a very unknown time. Please be confident that we will continue with thorough cleaning regimes to minimise any risk, and we ask you to follow all Covid-19 advice and social distancing requirements. We are so happy to be returning! We look forward to seeing you soon.

21.01.2022 Unfortunately our phone lines have just been affected with current construction work. This also affects our eftpos and hicaps access. We apologise for any inconvenience. We aim to have it sorted out quickly.... If you need to urgently contact us please reply to the text message, we'll do the best we can to reply.

21.01.2022 Health Allies is proud to support Brian and Peter from 'Winefuelled Racing' on this years Riverina Redneck Rally, a Country Hope supporter for Hospitals and Kids in the NSW Riverina district. This region is a big part of Anita & Brinn's life with family from Griffith, Narrandera, Hillston and surrounds. Brinn & Anita are not rallying this year, if you can donate to these guys in lieu, please do. Brinn has been a part of Winefuelled racing for several years now, participating... in "24 Hours of LeMons" on a few occasions, which is also a Prostate Cancer and Men's health awareness event. Thank you and all the best to the Winefuelled lads.

19.01.2022 Due to the COVID-19 virus we will be stopping practice and closing the clinic until further notice. >>> If you need to get in touch, please email: [email protected] or reply to your SMS notices <<< We are all well and wish to stay that way for our families and clients. ... Thank you for your understanding at this unprecedented time.

17.01.2022 EFTPOS, HICAPS, & Phones are back up - for now...We have to work towards repairing the damage long term, but it's all working at the moment.

17.01.2022 Cliniko, our booking and invoicing system is down... which means we currently can't check, create or change appointments, or issue invoices. Sorry! They're usually quick at troubleshooting, hopefully back soon.

17.01.2022 We have many pieces of exciting news here at Health Allies, stay tuned!

16.01.2022 We have had the absolute pleasure of Angela joining us in clinic for her final 100 hours of supervised practical work as a student. Congratulations and the very best of wishes to Ange as she continues her osteopathic career in Lismore. She will be a fantastic clinician and the Health Allies team feels privileged to have been a part of her training.

15.01.2022 Very exciting times here at Health Allies. With excitement however, comes mess. We are expanding! We will soon have a larger clinic space with extra treatment rooms - enough to fit everyone in! But this means some minor inconvenience as doorways are placed in our waiting room.... Please be patient with us as our waiting room changes, and stay tuned for some sneak peak progress pics.

15.01.2022 We have diverted phone lines and have a square reader operating to get us through as best possible - HICAPS (private health) is not available, but we can print your invoice so you can claim with your fund.

14.01.2022 We have had a fantastic week at Health Allies this week. Our team have loved supporting Angela in her final hours before graduating as an Osteopath. We look forward for Angela's last week with us in 2021. Today we also had an exciting morning with Haeley Collins (TCM and Acupuncture) starting with us . So glad to have her as part of our team. Have a great weekend everyone!

13.01.2022 Hi all! Sometimes progress means inconvenience, the rear of the clinic is having the driveway concreted in the coming weeks, please DO NOT enter the driveway, if you need assistance please call ahead. We do have some bollards out but trades are in and out moving fill, so they may not be obvious. Street parking front of clinic is available (be aware of the timed/no parking zones), Dora street, or Summer St (off McLachlan) at the 5 ways are all a short walk.... To make things more fun, Clinko our booking, payments and patient details software is having a meltdown, so bookings are very difficult at the moment. Thanks for understanding, The Health Allies Team.

13.01.2022 We're happy to welcome Angela Slattery to Health Allies for placement next week [30th Nov to 4th Dec] and early in the new year, [5th to 15th Jan] - due to the chaos of COVID her usual uni-clinic hours have been limited for final year requirements & we're happy to help! Angela moved from Orange to Lismore four years ago to enhance her massage therapy skills and become and Osteopath. Having completed her Bachelor of Clinical Sciences in 2019 she is due to graduate from Southe...rn Cross University early next year. Her final task for Masters in Osteopathic Medicine is clinical placement hours that she will be completing at Health Allies. Angela has developed an interest in chronic pain treatment, teen development and women's health. She hopes that her placement in Orange exposes her to these and many more common and complex musculoskeletal conditions. We're taking bookings now - Treatments will be 1 hour, priced at $50. Unfortunately we cannot offer Health Fund rebates or use EPC referrals. Any client under 18 will require full guardian supervision for the duration of the treatment. If you'd like to take advantage of Angela being in clinic please call us on (02) 53 106 173 for bookings and inquires.

12.01.2022 Phone & Internet are still out. Which means no EFTPOS or HICAPS as well. Sorry!!

11.01.2022 We're back for 2021 - and with the stark reminder that COVID-19 isn't just going to go away in the new year. Orange has had a positive case travel through and dine locally on Sunday 3rd of January. Following the Sydney outbreak at Christmas we'd registered as a COVID Safe business with Service NSW - and there will be QR code logins in the clinic, this is also been made a requirement by Osteopathy Australia to compliment clinic appointment records. If you do not have your phon...e on you, it's ok, your appointment time is a register of your visit & we have your contact info, but we do appreciate the extra effort to sign in using the Service NSW details. Until contact tracing and isolations have been completed for the case in Orange, practitioners and staff will be wearing masks as a precaution. It is greatly appreciated if you mask up in the waiting room too, we understand it's not always practical during treatment. If you're unwell with symptoms or you have visited the 'red zone' of Greater Sydney, Wollongong & the Blue Mountains in the past 14 days please reschedule your appointment.

11.01.2022 FIXED! Massive thanks to Nick Lander Communications. Nick called in yesterday to have a look at the problem, said he'd have it sorted today, on his way to another job early this morning he called in, fixed our line before we'd come to work, all so we would have no interruptions!

09.01.2022 Council have implemented 2hr parking on Dora st and the section of road on William St in front of Health Allies and the Vet. Please be aware and park accordingly, no doubt they will monitor them closer for the coming weeks (although they are allowing a 2 week grace period) The no stopping zones have always been active but the signs are updated too. As an alternative the '5 Ways' Summer St East dead end off McLachlan St is a close walk around the corner. We ask that you try to... refrain from parking behind the clinic in the coming months due to renovations starting soon. Please let us know if you need assistance with access and parking.

08.01.2022 Following last nights announcements, Health Allies is functioning as normal today. We will comply with state or federal directives and will update you as changes occur. We look forward to seeing you. :)

06.01.2022 If you have a cold or symptoms, please reschedule your appointment. If we're sick because it's been introduced to the clinic, our Osteo's take time off as duty of care to our clients. "I've been tested, It's not COVID" is not a valid reason to attend your treatment with a cold. ... We appreciate it much more if you call short notice to reschedule if you're unwell, than if you come in with a cough.

06.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all, have a happy and safe festive season! Thank you for another wonderful year at Health Allies, we have massive 2020 plans already underway, so keep an eye out for what's going on! Our hours for the New Year are varied - We are now closed until Monday the 6th of January where Simon will return to a booked out week - There will be no front of house, so if you need to cancel an appointment please call and leave a message or reply to your text reminder.... Anita, Brinn & Megan will return Tuesday the 14th of January. Megan will be available Tues to Friday in the new year. Simon will be available Monday & Friday, with expanded hours to be announced, including 6-8pm and varied Saturday mornings. Anita will retain her usual hours, but is currently booked out until late February, she is not taking new client bookings due to the extended wait times. Anna will hopefully re-join us midway through 2020! Wishing you all the best, and we'll see you in the new year. Anita, Brinn, Anna, Megan & Simon.

05.01.2022 We will be closed Friday 24th of July. Have a great weekend!

04.01.2022 Health Allies Update on Covid-19. We would like to be writing a "business as usual" type post to share with you all, but let's face it... It's not really business as usual anywhere at the moment. We wish to share with you how we can all help one another during the current time. Firstly - Health Allies is open and trading as usual, however we are taking some further precautions to maintain the health and safety of our staff, practitioners and clients....Continue reading

03.01.2022 We will be closed Friday 24th of July. Have a great weekend!

03.01.2022 A quick update to say we're currently still open and taking further measures to keep safe: If you are sick and have not seen your GP with an all clear, please do not attend. Please consider your movements and personal contact before coming in for your appointment - If you've traveled interstate in the last 14 days, been to a major city, or even been in close quarters with people who have, please reconsider attending.... If you're here early, please wait in your car or support one of the nearby cafes still doing take away until your appointment is due. Please do not bring company with you where possible, this will help maintain 1 person per 4 Sq metres as recommended by state and federal government. Contact during HICAPS (Private Health) transactions will be minimised, we will still process your benefit, marking it in your presence, with your permission. EFTPOS - If you can tap your card, please do. You are welcome to cancel your appointment. You may wish to stay at home, this is the safest and most recommended measure. We completely understand and respect any decision to continue safe distancing. IN GOOD NEWS Our expansions are still going ahead - you'll have to excuse the smell of paint, the easily overheard working team out the back and no access to the driveway/rear of the building. Once this is all over, we're really looking forward to our updated clinic space.

02.01.2022 Happy Birthday Anita! ;)
