25.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all of the Dads out there! I want to remember two special people today, who have been a big part of our lives but who are sadly not with us anymore. My Dad, his name was Walter but everyone called him Tod.... He was a very hard working, kind man who would help anyone. He would always say to me; You can do anything. He was the quiet support in the back ground always. My husbands Dad was always helping others and gave it all for his family. Show your dad (and your mum) some love today, tomorrow, and every day.
24.01.2022 Bath Bombs. Safe for kids to make. Ellie decided to make some today for presents and for when you we go on holiday where we have a bath! 300g bicarbonate soda 130g citric acid you could grind it down or leave as is 30 drops of essential oil we used palmarosa and geranium 15 drops each 36g carrier oil we used macadamia nut oil . ... Add sodium carbonate, citric acid and colouring if using (only if powder) Add essential oils and carrier oil mix until combined. Make sure it clumps together nicely then add to your mould pack in tightly Let set for 24 hours in a cool dry place other wise will fall apart. If too hot they will expand !

14.01.2022 Shhhh don't tell them I put greens in the smoothie! If you put enough raspberries and strawberries it disguises the green. Although it turns out chocolate with the plant based protein powder but with vanilla it turns out red! This smoothie 1 cup of frozen mango 1 cup frozen raspberries and or strawberries / blueberries 1 banana (can be frozen)... I used a lovely plant based protein powder that works for us or add in some hemp seeds or cashew nuts 1 scoop of powdered super greens as had not spinach or other greens. 08.01.2022 : My whole family loves this recipe and it makes a great delicious meal. Great lunch for the next also with a fresh salad.. I coat my chicken in natural yoghurt and let it sit for a few hours in the fridge. This tenderises the chicken and I have found that it makes it easier to digest.... The home made chips: Cut into fine slices or could do chunks however you prefer, the I sprinkled with Himalayan sea salt and drizzled with infused cold pressed olive oil infused with black pepper , rosemary, thyme, lemon food grade oils and fresh rosemary from the garden. 08.01.2022 : Oaty dried apricot biscuits One of my favourite biscuit recipes! - my kids, 8 and 10 years old absolutely loves them and it makes for a great lunch box favourite.... You can substitute spelt flour for gluten free flour and you can also use quinoa flakes instead of oats. I have found that my kids react to the usual bright orange dried apricots so instead I buy organic and preservative free apricots.
