21.01.2022 Yesterday, there was an enquiry for my southside clinic about how much I charge. I said initial consultation and treatment is $80, subsequent visits are $68; she said how long for? I said about an hour, she said can I pay for $68 and split them into 2 treatments? !!! LOL

14.01.2022 I had my health talk on Five element yesterday at my Southside clinic yesterday at 28, London St, Eight Mile Plains, quite good turn out, I only had to English for one session and Cantonese for the second session. They generated a lot of questions. 12.01.2022 Hi everyone, as promised in the class, I have done the tea egg receipe, please try it and give me feedback Tea Egg Ingredients: 1.50 eggs 2.Tea leaves (Chinese tea, any type, I used Oolong) 3/4 small bowl, about 150 g... 3.Tea bag (4) 4.Herb pack/Spice pack (You can but it from Chinese grocery store, refer to photo) 5.Light soy sauce 1 1/2 bowl (small bowl) 6.Sugar (3 table spoons) 7.Salt ( 1 teaspoon) Method: 1.Wash the eggs and boil them, like boiled eggs, crack them lightly afterwards, put them aside 2.In a big saucepan, put in about 2500 cc water, put tea leaves and tea bags in and boil for 10 mins, take all the tea leaves out 3.Into the liquid, out in all other ingredients and the cooked egg. 4.Bring the content to boil, then boil for another 40 mins low heat 5.Leave them till the next day. 6.The next day (second day), morning, lunch and dinner, boil the content for 10 minutes 7.The third day, you can start to enjoy the tea eggs, yummy. Note: If you cant finish the egg on the day, you have to bring the content to boil daily; this should be okay to keep up to 7 days See more

11.01.2022 My patient came in today, this is the second visit. He came in last Saturday for Sciatic pain down the left side of the leg and foot; it has been so bad, he was seen by Dr, chiropractor & physio over the last 4-5 weeks, no effect; in desperation, his wife remembered me and asked him to come to see me. After one treatment, his comment was" unbelievable", he said "spooky", he is almost painless, walk freely without having to limp. He doesn't like the herb but he still takes it. So, a combination of acupuncture and herbs work effectively.

This is my favourite topic, being a midwife before and now talk about how to deal with problems using Traditional Chinese Medicine Approach, by Acupuncture, Acuppresure and auricular acupuncture, it is the best combination ever.

09.01.2022 Today, at the class, the term "Jealous breast" raised a bit of discussion. on page 664 of Maciocia, Jealous breast is "Du Ru", translated as begrudging milk; characterized by milk not flowing due to the baby's inability to suck properly; the breast becomes engorged, hot painful and hard, the milk does not flow, Qi & blood stagnate.

08.01.2022 I treated a 2 & half year old girl yesterday with eczema, I did non retaining acupuncture on her, she was so amazing, not a bit scared, no tears, her mum was so proud of her. It was such a good experience working with a cooperative child; will see how the effect of the treatment on her with herbs next week

08.01.2022 I finally got my third division in the Chinese Medicine Registration with AHPHA; I held the third one off because of money, cost me another $563 for my extra third division. Now I have got a full licence for Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine & Chinese herbal dispensing I am also off to China for 3 weeks as form 1/11, doing some TCM supply shopping as well

08.01.2022 Special tea drink I made this morning, eyes feeling a bit gritty, might have had too many lychee (home grown). The tea drink is chrysanthemum, Goji Berry, and Mint leaves, they all benefit the eyes, clear heat; taste nice aswell. Wishing you all a happy,& healthy New Year
