20.01.2022 Meet the Staff Hayley Brass Hayley is a degree qualified Naturopath completing her Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc. Nat) at Endeavour College and is registered with the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association Australia (NHAA).... In Hayley’s words I grew up in a health conscious household and have always been drawn to naturopathy. I even chose to do my high school work experience at a naturopathic clinic in Burleigh! When I was 18, I developed eczema all over my legs, hands and face. Through my studies and with the help of an experienced naturopath, I managed to identify the underlying causes of my eczema using pathology testing, and went on a journey to heal my leaky gut and support my nervous system. I am a big believer in balance, moderation and the 80/20 rule. I believe in eating clean most of the time (>80%) with lots of nutritious veggies and minimally processed processed foods, but sometimes you gotta treat yourself and eat dark chocolate and drink wine with your bestie. It’s called balance! Her special interests include treating: Hormonal conditions: PMS, irregular cycles, PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid issues, preconception care and fertility. Digestive health: irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, constipation, diarrhoea, SIBO, dysbiosis, leaky gut or intestinal permeability, food intolerances and bacterial or parasitic infections.
