24.01.2022 This weekend when you are out trying to work off the chocolate fest, dont twist through your low back, even while you walk. The lumbar spine only has 1 to 2 degrees of rotation per segment. Its not meant to rotate. So that twisting force becomes a shearing force to the discs in your back, causing damage, setting you up for trouble. Keep it straight n strong.

The 1953 study by Morris and colleagues on London bus drivers v conductors showed that the conductors were less likely to develop heart disease or die from it if they did get an attack. But those conductors were up and down the stairs all day. More recent studies are showing that sitting all day, even if you go to the gym regularly, will put you more at risk of developing cardiovascular disease, cancer and type II diabetes.
