08.01.2022 There are roughly 1.35 million Australians living with known, diagnosed diabetes and around 500,000 Australians living with silent, undiagnosed type 2 diabetes.... Diabetes can impact women in a number of ways, some similar to men, and others not. Today is the start of Womens Health Week 2020. This week we will be focussing on some important issues relating to women and diabetes, including mental health aspects and some physical aspects that arent often talked about. Some of the topics we cover may be a little uncomfortable to discuss, but that doesnt make them any less important. Were here to support you. Stay tuned.

Davids experience includes Super Rugby, NRL and English Premier League Football. He was the Team Physician for the Opals at London 2012 and Olympic Team Medical Director at Rio 2016. He is a former President of the Australasian College of Sport & Exercise Physicians. Davids current work focus is on system-wide protocols to optimise athlete health & safety, concussion and ethical/integrity challenges in high performance sport.
