18.01.2022 SHOULD I LIFT WEIGHTS??? I've heard you will get big IF you do? Rumour is you will get bulky to? I don't want big muscles, if I lift will I get them? ... No No & No Many mums ask if they should lift weights. My answer is always the same. If you want life long results in your journey then yes you definitely should lift. If you want to improve your health then you should lift. If you want to love what you see in the mirror then you should lift. If you want to function well then you should lift. There are so many un truths around lifting weights. Getting big and bulky. Turning into a man. Gaining big muscles... Truth is they simply aren't true. That's simply not how it works. Lifting, if programmed correctly (99% of the time it isn't) Will give you everything you wish for in your journey. It's one of the key tools we use with our mums to set them up for life long success. And to save them time. That then means more time to spend doing the things the love each week rather than slaving away 7 days a week 2 hrs a day in the gym chasing results. So for life long results you should definitely learn to lift. Then learn how to programme it in correctly and jump aboard the life long result train.

She is able to do something you are not! Weight loss advertising is devoted to making you feel inadequate and imperfect! After looking at these ads it makes you feel guilty, ashamed, depressed and even anxious! These adds should be banned! We should be: working together educating each other supporting each other! You are stronger than you believe and more beautiful than you will ever know! Be confident with who you are and who you are striving to be Don't let some weight loss ad tell you who you should be!

09.01.2022 One of my favorite tools in the kitchen especially over the colder months.... The slow cooker! A.K.A: The busy persons best friend.... This morning it was curry chicken and veggie soup that went into the slow cooker - a staple for our Online nutrition program. Tonight walking in the door I was greeted with the divine smell of a yummy dinner ready to eat that the whole family can enjoy. 09.01.2022 Looking in the mirror you don’t like what you see Reaching for multiple cups of coffee and sugary treats to make it through the day has become a normal thing for you I know you spend more time unwell then well That you wish the stress, frustration and anxiety would simply disappear But as each year passes by all the above seems to keep growing ... More unhappiness More coffee and sugary sweets More time spent being unwell Now it feels like you are stuck That you are in to deep to ever get out I know deep down however you know what you want What you truly want To be able to love yourself again To be able to like what you see To walk into a room beaming with confidence like you once did To be the role model for those you love so much To have more energy To spend less time unwell and more time living life To wave goodbye to stress, anxiety and frustration Busy mum I know you Busy mum I get you I know that little voice in your head has been stopping you It has been for many years now You know the one I mean It says. 08.01.2022 I am a big believer in gratitude! Being grateful for all that we have, in giving credit where it's due and appreciating those who love and support us. Today I thought I would post about someone who inspires me, who I'm grateful for, who supports and guides me and who has been a part of my health and fitness journey. There are so many people who are providing positive changes let's celebrate them! ... Today's Gratitude post is for my dear friend Emma. Here is why I love Emma: Fate works in funny ways and Emma and I have been drawn together many times. Josh (Emma's husband) and I went to primary school together - we won't mention how long ago that was I'm inspired by Emma's physical flexibility as we enjoyed stretching and being pretzels in our many yoga classes together. I am very grateful for Emma's support and encouragement through both my pregnancies and natural births of my two beautiful children through her love of Naturopathy. Funnily enough Emma and I were pregnant at the same time (Emma with her second and myself with Lachie) and gave birth one day apart. Between us our 4 children are born within the same 3 days! (That's just freaky!) I appreciate Emma's guidance in providing a more natural and holistic way of living life. Emma is always happy to give unconditional support and guidance and never expects anything in return. I'm inspired by Emma's parenting style and she is the most gentle, loving, supportive mum to her two gorgeous children and anyone she comes in contact with. Emma, You have been such a strength to me many times through pregnancy, birth, parenting and sleepless nights you are strong in mind, body and soul Emma, Thank you for making such an impact in my life, for being awesome and thanks for just being YOU xx (and for allowing me to share our story) The journey is so much more enjoyable when you surround yourself with supportive and like minded people to help reach your health and fitness goals
