25.01.2022 Try it and youll see what I mean.

25.01.2022 What do you eat on the Paleo Diet? The Paleo diet is a nutrient-dense whole foods diet based on eating a variety of quality meat, seafood, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds. It improves health by providing balanced and complete nutrition while avoiding most processed and refined foods and empty calories. Following a Paleo diet is actually pretty simple. Theres a huge variety of health-promoting foods to choose from, including all meats... all seafood eggs vegetables of all kinds fruits of all kinds edible fungi like mushrooms nuts and seeds At its core, the Paleo diet is a plant-based diet, with two thirds or more of your plate covered with plant foods and only one third with animal foods. Of course, meat consumption is enthusiastically endorsed as well because it provides vital nutrients not obtainable from plant sources. Sourcing the highest quality food you can is encouraged, meaning choosing grass-fed or pasture-raised meat, wild-caught seafood, and local organic fruits and vegetables whenever possible. See more

24.01.2022 Now getting back to basics again lets talk about camping. The type of camping that Im talking about is Beach Camping. There is nothing better than going to sleep with the sun and getting up with the sun. Looking out the front door of the tent and watching the tide come in, the rolling of the waves and the activity of the birds and Tatah Lizards looking for food. The only thing you have to do out there is catch fish ,collect beautiful shells and relax. While camping it is always a good idea to take some prepared food just incase the fish elude us.

24.01.2022 Some people will ask is the Paleo diet healthy? or Is the caveman diet unsafe?

23.01.2022 Stay tuned for Paleo Snacks

22.01.2022 Take the challenge!

21.01.2022 Try this for thirty days.

21.01.2022 Since most breakfast foods have grains, paleo eaters can sometimes have a hard time finding filling options other than eggs and bacon. The Paleolithic Diet, an increasingly popular lifestyle choice, is based on consuming only foods available to the first humans who lived over 200,000 years ago. Meaning: Plants and animal meats are in and grain and dairy products are out

21.01.2022 Apple Crisps Makes Two bowls full Servings 2 Prep Time 15min Cook Time 3:0 hours ... Ready In 3:0 hours You can also use pears, oranges and lemons chucked into the mix. You can add any fruit you like such as strawberries or kiwi fruit. Kids seem to like the apple ones the best. It is a great snack for lunchboxes, travelling in the car or just a quick in-between meals snack. Ingredients 2 Apples Cinnamon and Palm Sugar mixed in shaker 1/2 Lemon squeezed into a big bowl of cold water Pane Slicer Method Slice the apples in half from top to bottom through the middle. (Apple is right side up) Put the apple half flat onto the pane slicer and press the glider (spikes!) into the round part at the top and start slicing away. Drop the apple slices into the bowl with water and lemon juice. Once all the apples are sliced, get an oven tray and line it with baking paper. Lay the apples flat onto the paper and sprinkle lightly with sugar and cinnamon mix. Heat the oven to 80C Place the oven tray into the oven and let it dry out for about 2 - 3 hours. You will need to check it so that it doesnt burn. It will be ready when they become wavy and curly and they are crisp. They will snap in half when you break them apart. See more

13.01.2022 Coconut Flour Pancakes These coconut flour pancakes cook up just like traditional pancakes, except they are missing one ingredient found in almost every single pancake recipe: all-purpose flour. All the taste that youd expect is there, and on Paleo you can use pure maple syrup to make this taste incredible. Also, you are free to have bacon as a side, which helps to complete a most delicious start to the day, and keeps this right in line with something youd get as a breakfast at a restaurant or dinner. Get used to using coconut flour, as it will become your new best friend on Paleo.

11.01.2022 I like you, hate the word diet, it makes most people cringe at the thought of eating lettuce leaves and being hungry all the time. We are very lucky that we enjoy the choice of what we can eat and what we cant eat. I think the main thing to remember is to eat food that we like and limit the food that we all know is not that good for us. Now lets think about it for a moment, last time you had fast food take away, did you feel satisfied in the same way that you feel satisfied w...hen you go home for Thanks Giving or Christmas. That feeling of wow that food was yum. We are lucky to have food on the table on our special days of the year but also in our every day lives. We can think back to when we were kids and mum would cook us a home cooked dinner every night, food was always yummy. If we eat healthily then our bodies will respond better and in turn we will feel better. See more

11.01.2022 Banana Pancakes Ingredients Serves 1 1 banana, mashed 1 free-range egg... 1 tsp of coconut, shredded 1 tsp cinnamon Vanilla Flavoring Directions 1. Mash one whole banana and lightly beat with an egg. 2. For extra flavor, add coconut chips, vanilla flavoring (just a dash) and cinnamon. 3. Pour this mixture into a frying pan and cook as you would a regular pancake. Yum This is a very simple recipe anyone can put together very quickly. Maybe you should try it. See more

10.01.2022 If you want a copy of these recipes it ends on the 30 June so get it while you can.

09.01.2022 Sorry guys Ive been offline for a while due to technical problems, but Im back now. Hows every one going with their Paleo?

08.01.2022 If you love bananas that is ok but you may also like to try it by substituting the banana for shredded apple. This is also Yum.

08.01.2022 A great way to cook on the beach is a camp fire when the flames die down you can use the hot coals to cook most things. Jacket potatoes are my favourite. Just wrap in foil after piercing the skin with a knife, you can add anything else that you like, some olive butter a little sea salt some pepper. You can also do the same with the sweet potatoes. Jacket Potatoes go really well with Fish.

08.01.2022 Stay tuned for Paleo Camping ideas.

06.01.2022 Servings: 4 Preparation Time: 5 minutes 1/2 cup coconut flour 1 cup almond flour* 2 eggs 1 mashed banana (well-spotted) 3 tablespoons melted coconut oil, plus more for pan... 3 tablespoons raw organic honey 1/4 teaspoon sea salt Thoroughly combine all ingredients in a medium size mixing bowl, be sure there are no lumps. Coat a pan with coconut oil on medium heat and drop in pancake mix (these cook better when kept small: 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons of mix). Flip once slightly browned on bottom, approximately 3 minutes. They are ready when well-formed and easy to flip. Cook additional 2 minutes and remove from pan. Enjoy! These pancakes are delicious on their own but can be topped with raw honey, maple syrup, homemade jam or fresh fruit. *You can grind your own almond flour by placing whole almonds in a blender/food processor and blending until you get a fine meal - See more at:

04.01.2022 Getting ideas of what to cook at the end of a busy day is always the hardest. Here are some really great recipes to try.

04.01.2022 Looking at this yummy food and thinking, how lucky we are to be able to choose what food we eat. We have a lot to be thankful for.

03.01.2022 The food we eat not only has to be healthy for us but it must also look nice and tasty. Yum, I could eat this any time of the day.

02.01.2022 Cheesy BLT Bites These BLT bites have the T built right in because theyre served up on a cherry tomato. Shes using cream cheese here, which you can sub out Paleo approved cream cheese for and be all set. The B of the BLT is covered with a respectable amount of bacon per bite. The T comes in the form of spinach, so youre getting a nutritional upgrade from plain old lettuce which doesnt have nearly as many vitamins and nutrients that spinach has. Dust these with a bit of parmesan cheese, one cheese that most Paleo-ers accept as OK, and youre good to go.

02.01.2022 Check out this great cook book.

01.01.2022 The paleo diet is based on the belief that modern-day conditions such as diabetes, obesity and heart disease all started when ancient man embraced farming practices and cultivated food. It claims that, genetically speaking, the human body is best built to deal with food which is sourced from hunting, fishing and gathering, as opposed to those items grown from agriculture such as wholegrains, sugar, dairy and legumes. A typical paleo meal plan might include eggs and steak fo...r breakfast, soup or salad (preferably including meat or fish) for lunch and roast meat and vegetables for dinner. Paleo recipes include stews, stir-fries and egg dishes such as frittatas and omelettes. Yum this is just what I like to eat. See more
