25.01.2022 Lead found leaching from imported tapware! This is just another reason why buying quality Australian Made products offers so many benefits! We are often asked about brands we love - from this sector it would have to be Australian made RAM tapware. Water is ingested and potentially toxins absorbed - quality tapware to supply quality water within the home is so important. Lead is so harmful to human health. Not forgetting .... plumbing failures are expensive to fix when cheap products fail. This article in the paper today - do you own this tapware?

23.01.2022 You know that call when you are asked to do something that makes you nervous? The Undercover Architect (Amelia) invited me to participate in my very first podcast! Clearly she is a very talented lady and makes bringing together a hit design podcast series look so easy! Had a great time talking all about Interior design & what an interior designer actually does! After checking out her series I have found a love for podcasts..... so much GOLD! You can have a listen here; https://undercoverarchitect.com/podcast-episode-7-what-doe/

21.01.2022 I would say some people within the green property sector in Australia contributed to "getting you thinking" @realestate.com.au ... and after said thoughts you choose to collaborate with Tendril an overseas resource! Hmmm Great idea you have had!

10.01.2022 When monitoring exercise the old fashion way pays off! Interesting to see if anything further relating to wearable technology arises.

10.01.2022 We don't need a study to confirm living without indoor pollutants makes sense for wellness.... but for some who need the document glad they are starting to appear! https://www.thefifthestate.com.au//a-few-billion-mo/97548

08.01.2022 "The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced a review into the potential risks of plastic in drinking water after a new analysis of some of the world’s most popular bottled water brands found that more than 90% contained tiny pieces of plastic"

07.01.2022 Thankyou to this Drs group for thinking broadly & educating people on the connection between environment & health! PFOA can be found in some homewares and interior materials - it's a chemical known to be toxic! This toxic spill in QLD is tragic given the damaging & accumulative characteristics of this pollutant. https://www.cancer.org//teflon-and-perfluorooctanoic-acid- Doctors for the Environment Australia

01.01.2022 Puts a whole new meaning to enjoying a brew... We prefer organic tea, when using a bagged tea opting for bleach free tea bag ... Note : organic does not always mean no nasties, in some cases it may mean only reduced nasties... Green washing is rife. It pays to question brands

01.01.2022 Healthy interiors has valued the opportunity to participate with the Technical Advisory Committee for the review of these standards. GECA is offering the public an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft standards. A great opportunity to help lift standards for products that we work and live with....have your say!
