12.01.2022 We came across this image this morning. Astounded to see this at the Australian Open! 2 women fighting over a sweaty headband. What really stood out in this image was the childs face: completely alone and forlorn! This could also be the image of a child caught in the middle of a custody battle where her parents have lost sight of her feelings or even what they are arguing about.... Lets do conflict better. Learn to negotiate conflict with words not force. Healthy Divorce every time!

04.01.2022 The days leading up to Christmas can be very stressful when it comes to having difficult conversations with your ex. This is where effective communication will become one of your most useful tools. Whether its face to face conversations, phone calls, emails or text messages, here are our top 3 tips on how you can effectively communicate with your ex and avoid the unnecessary arguments: 1. Be considerate in your tone - a soft and considerate tone will minimise the chance of a... negative reaction from your ex. Simples things such as please and thank you goes a very long way. 2. Actively listen - dont just hear, listen. Understanding what your ex is saying will help you share what you want to say more effectively, as well as avoid conflict. 3. Keep it clear and concise - take the guess work out of what you are saying. Be clear about what you are trying to get across by keeping things factual and avoiding unclear statements, such as you know what I mean. Hopefully you find these tips helpful!
