25.01.2022 Herbs in Focus #2 St Mary’s Thistle (Silybum marianum) St Mary’s Thistle is a herb that is close to my heart and one that I use in most herb mixes. ... In 2002 my dad was given 24 hours to live when his liver started failing after an operation to remove his stomach (full gastrectomy) because of stomach cancer. Like it was yesterday I remember asking the ward doctor if I could give my dad St Mary’s Thistle. His exact words were ‘I don’t care what you give him he doesn’t have long to live anyway’. WELL, I’m happy to say that dad is still alive 18 years later and STILL takes St Mary’s Thistle to this day. I think of it as a miracle herb and take it myself most days as my liver like everyone else’s needs a helping hand with all the toxins and chemicals it needs to filter daily. Follow my page for weekly Herb in Focus posts which includes my channeled spiritual properties for each herb. If you’d like to try this incredible herb in tablet or tincture form PM me or comment.

20.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone! It’s always hard to get back into the weekday routine after 2 beautiful days off to relax and recharge so here are some tips on how to make every day a joy: Get 7-10 hours of sleep every single night. That way you wake up energized and can fit so much into your day without effort. ... Have a morning mantra that you say as soon as you get up so even if you don’t wake up in a good mood you can change your mindset with affirmations. Schedule in a couple of hours of alone time midweek (every week) for a massage, a hike, meditation on the beach, a long bath, whatever it is that calms your nervous system and as a reminder to enjoy everyday not just the weekend where we often try to cram in so many activities so it can be far from relaxing. You aren’t a robot and for many it’s a fine line between being busy and pushing yourself to your absolute limits so that your adrenals and nervous system are exhausted. Observe yourself - your breathing, your posture, your anxiety levels and make adjustments where needed and rest. Do at least 30 minutes of an exercise that you enjoy daily. Eat mindfully. If you can’t fast without getting ‘hangry’ or light headed balance your blood sugar levels with a mineral supplement and make sure adrenal glands aren’t exhausted. We eat way too much, especially simple carbohydrates so a keto style diet with fasting works best for most people. Don’t forget to laugh (especially at yourself) everyday. We all take life way too seriously. Have a crew of people that have your back and you theirs. Ask for help when you need it. No man is an island so share your load and love with those that matter most to you. Express gratitude for all that you are and have and you’ll see how blessed and abundant you are. Have a wonderful day

17.01.2022 Nature bathing and play isn’t just for children, it’s vital for everyone. When we disconnect from being busy, stressed, on the go, hooked up to electronics 24/7 lives we allow our body and mind to let go and just be. That’s when the magic happens.... That’s when we reset. That’s when cortisol comes down and our nervous system can rest. That’s when we can explore our thoughts and self heal. That’s when we clear the mental chaff and prioritize and focus. That’s when we stop consuming and start releasing and unwinding. That’s when we connect with our higher self and nature which are incapable of lying to us. That’s when we come home to our real self. Get in nature as often and as long as possible. Nothing will make you feel as alive as the natural healing wonders of this earth.

14.01.2022 Our backs and our spine are where we hold so much unresolved pain, unshed tears and trauma. It’s not unusual for people to have an emotional release whilst having a back massage or doing yoga/stretches that stretch and elongate the back. If you’re a shallow breather or have other breathing issues, have chronic neck, shoulder, back or spine problems that won’t go away, it’s your body’s way of telling you that it’s carrying your pain and won’t go away until you dig deeper. ...
