25.01.2022 Good Morning Healthy Mummies!!! Well, it has been a very slow start to my year (even after the February restart haha)...but I have officially been on track since Monday morning!!! I am doing a no junk food challenge with a friend which has been successful, and have been exercising most days - I'm feeling pretty good and have no desire to stop...woohoo!!! How is your journey going?



23.01.2022 Well, I am slowly getting back into normality after being unwell last week...I'm going to try to keep a food journal on here daily to keep myself accountable and share what exercise and other activities I'm doing to continue on my health and fitness journey. Feel free to join by sharing any of your journey too!

22.01.2022 I'm back!!! Well, almost...I'm currently not well BUT as soon as I am, I want to start using this page again - to keep me accountable and hopefully inspire you as well! This year is going to be awesome!!!

22.01.2022 I joined some lovely friends for a walk up Mt Ngungun (Glasshouse Mountains) this morning...it is such a glorious view from the top...I highly recommend you try it if you can!!!



21.01.2022 Wow! My littlest man started prep yesterday, but I didn't realise how much it would affect me emotionally...finding it super hard to get moving or do much of anything - the heat isn't helping either! Any tips???

19.01.2022 I have been seeing so many people who are smashing their health journeys lately - I guess being the start of a new year might help lol And as much as I find it inspiring, I usually walk away feeling like I can do it too...for a few seconds and then I realise how tired and unmotivated I am... Does anyone else feel like this sometimes? Please tell me it's normal haha

18.01.2022 Long time no post!!! How is everyone's health journey going? I have been trying to lose some weight, but feel I haven't put enough effort in as I have only managed to maintain over the last couple of months...time to step it up - and no, I'm not waiting until the new year when I can start today!



17.01.2022 Hey healthy Mummies! Well, I'm now on day 10 of the no junk food challenge and still going strong!!! I've also started a 6 week online challenge, and after a week of that I have lost a kilo and almost 10cm!!! How awesome is that??? I'm feeling better in myself, and more energetic (but still tired often if that's possible lol)...Let's see what the next week has in store??? How is your journey going? Are you staying on track or do you need a little motivation???

13.01.2022 Trying out this recipe tonight - so far it smells good...the test will be whether it tastes as good as it smells (given I'm not a fan of curry lol) and whether the kids will eat it! What are you having for dinner tonight?

11.01.2022 I hope everyone had a lovely and relaxing Easter...did you get any chocolate? I got one Lindt bunny and gave in to emotional eating and ate it all in one sitting lol But it's gone now and I can refocus on my goals!!! How are you managing your chocolate intake - complete abstinence, little by little or something else? I'd love to know :)

06.01.2022 If anyone wants to know what the no junk food challenge is - here you go! It doesn't have to be for 21 days...just pick a time frame that works for you - make it a challenge, but a realistic challenge :)

06.01.2022 A long time ago, I managed to get myself into the bad habit of eating way too much for breakfast - I'm a weetbix girl but 2 (the standard serving size) never seemed enough, and I ended up having a lot more...I am now working on breaking that habit so am currently having a fruit smoothie for breakfast. 2 days in and I look forward to a smoothie that is not only filling but healthy and delicious as well! What do you eat for breakfast? Do you fuel your body to give you energy for the day?

02.01.2022 Good morning Mummies!!! Today, I am going for a walk with a gorgeous friend, and then it's off to the doctors to get my knees checked. I'm really keen to start interval running again, but not sure if my dodgy knees will cope lol What are you doing to be active today???

02.01.2022 This is something I need to remember!!! I can't wait for school to go back next week so our routines will get back on track...we are practising this week though so hopefully it will go smoothly... Do you stick to routines? Even during holiday times? Or are you like me and looking forward to getting back into a proper routine?

02.01.2022 What is everyone doing to stay active today??? And are you following it up with good, healthy food choices? I know I sure am - I've done a 40 minute toning workout and am about to have poached eggs on rye toast for lunch - yum!!!
