05.01.2022 Today is 10months I have been consistently sober. I thought I would never get through 1day. I’m 16 kilos less and healthier than I have ever been. ... I used to be so fearful of giving up my wine I mean, how would I switch off at night? How would I cope? How would I connect to my friends now? I’ll be left out socially I won’t be fun anymore I’ll be left out But I love the taste I love the feeling How would I celebrate? How would I numb out? I can’t go to parties now I can’t go out for dinner now My friends will dump me F. Forever E. Evading A. Another R. Reality What is My reality NOW? I’m now free from that ego I’m now free from the ties if Ill health Free from shame and self poisoning I’m now free from hiding I’m now free to truely be present I’m now free to face what I was denying and numbing and forever heal that When I heal myself, I heal all lifetimes and ancestral strands.
