23.01.2022 Another study in wet cupping (summary) Objectives: A recent study showed that cupping had therapeutic effects in rats with myocardial infarction and cardiac arrhythmia. The current study aimed to investigate the possible useful effects of cupping therapy on cardiac rhythm in terms of heart rate variability (HRV). Materials and methods: Forty healthy participants were included. Classic wet cupping therapy was applied on five points of the back. Recording electrocardiography (...to determine HRV) was applied 1 hour before and 1 hour after cupping therapy. Results: All HRV parameters increased after cupping therapy compared with before cupping therapy in healthy persons. Conclusions: These results indicate for the first time in humans that cupping might be cardio protective. In this study, cupping therapy restored sympathovagal imbalances by stimulating the peripheral nervous system.

22.01.2022 As-salmu alaykum! Welcome to my page. I'm a Certified Hijama Practitioner. Please do read my description in the 'about' section and like and follow for new information on Hijama. :) Here is a quick introduction for people who haven't heard of Hijama: The act of performing Hijama is a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad and it is extensively reported in a wide collection of authentic hadiths. Its practice is strongly recommended. The practice of Hijama forms an in...tegral part of Islamic Prophetic Medicine. Hijama was a common practice of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions for the treatment of a range of ailments as well as a form of body maintenance and health promotion. Hijama (Arabic: lit. "sucking") is the name in Arab traditional medicine for wet cupping, where blood is drawn by vacuum from a small skin incision for therapeutic purposes.

19.01.2022 Interesting "...If the headache is in front of the head, its treatment is sleeping. If it's on top of the head, its treatment is eating and drinking water. If the headache is at the back of your head, then its treatment is releasing stress. The treatment of increasing the power of your eyesight. This is very important to those whom eyes are weak and also to everyone. Eye muscles suffer as days pass by, which will lead to them not capable of having eye contact the accurate wa...y. In order to restore power in our eyesight and keep them always powerful, we need to follow the following sunnah in our salah. We should always keep our eyes open during the sujuud and stand up while looking at the sujuud spot and keep your eyes focused on the spot of sujuud throughout your salah. The wisdom behind looking at the sujuud spot is that while in rukuu, the eye muscles will pressure the lens to increase vision and while you get up the eye muscles will loosen. While in sujuud the lens will shrink because of the distance between the eyes and the ground. When you get up again it'll loosen the eye muscles. This practice we are doing each day is exercising our eye muscles. We can perform each day 17 times or as much as we want. Our prophet (peace be upon him) was always instructing to open our eyes during sujuud and now scientists have proven that this practice works in increasing the power of eyesight. Subhan Allah for this great wisdom of opening our eyes during sujuud. This deserves to be read and shared with others. Share and don't stop yourself from getting reward from Allah swt ..." A Non Muslim scientist proved we are more electrically charged now than ever before due to the electromagnetic radiations from the things like: Mobile, TV, AC, Microwave etc, and if we don't want this radiation to harm us, we should place our forehead on the floor more than once a day as the earth can absorb radiation. We Muslims are gifted With 5 Times Salaat to touch our heads downs i.e. 92 Sajdahs everyday. Subhaan Allah.! There is always wisdom behind Allah's commandments. "WHICH OF THE FAVOURS OF YOUR LORD WILL YOU DENY"? (Surah Rahman) If this inspired you, why not share it ! with everyone. See more

14.01.2022 The results are clear.. however I believe we do not need science to prove the benefits of Hijama for us to start practicing. Since it is a recommendation by our Prophet (s.a.v) and Angels, there are probably much more good in this then what science could figure.. Abstract Objectives Wet cupping therapy (WCT) is a traditional complementary method recommended to decrease the symptoms of a lot of diseases and used in the treatment of pain syndromes. In this pilot study, the pos...sible effects of wet cupping therapy on nonspecific neck and upper shoulder pain were investigated. Methods Sixty one eligible volunteer participants with nonspecific neck and upper shoulder pain for at least 3 months were allocated. The Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) was used to assess pain scores. Pain scores were recorded before and after wet cupping therapy. Results The mean scores of neck pain in study group were 7.02 (SD = 1.8) before and 3.70 (SD = 2.2) after cupping therapy. The decrease of pain scores between pre- and post-test was statistically significant (p < 0.05). Discussion It can be stated that WCT has potential therapeutic effect in nonspecific neck and upper shoulder pain. Future full-scale randomized controlled trials will be needed to provide firm evidence of the effectiveness of this intervention. See more
12.01.2022 Did you know? Bloodletting by opening a vein can be donated, however; blood that comes out with Hijama cannot be donated! The reason is according to research Hijama blood contains more toxins and heavy metals in comparison to blood acquired from bloodletting and is therefore useless.
05.01.2022 Hijama should be practiced regularly; it is not a one-off treatment..
