Together, Queensland Loud Shirt Day supporters have held over 200 events and already raised $135,000 which will change the lives of children born deaf, helping them to hear, listen and speak.

14.01.2022 Our Hear to Learn School Hearing Screening program has spent the final days of term three visiting 417 students across Moranbah, Coppabella, Nebo, Valkyrie, Middlemount and Dysart. A big thanks to Hear to Learn’s founding regional partner, Thiess for helping us visit these communities! 08.01.2022 Quota International of Townsville have been woven into Hear and Say’s history since the very beginning, and they have generously given right up until the end. With the sad news that the Club is dissolving, we are immensely grateful for the true difference members have made for North Queensland children impacted by hearing loss.

08.01.2022 Queensland’s Loudest Town is Wowan! What a nail-biting finish to the competition for the title of Queensland’s Loudest Town 2020, with Wowan raising an incredible total of $22,218. The mighty town of Aramac was just pipped at the post, raising an amazing $17,160. We can hardly believe what we’ve seen from these two extraordinary towns. Wowan is 80km south-west of Rockhampton and has a recorded population of just 216; while Aramac is about 200km north-east of Longreach with a recorded population of 299. A massively loud congratulations to both towns, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your outstanding efforts in helping ensure children born deaf or hard of hearing can reach their full potential.
