24.01.2022 We are one year old TODAY! To celebrate this landmark, we are having our first television ad campaign on channel 7. This TV campaign is designed to reach more people with a hearing loss and to remind the closest people in their life that there are solutions out there.... Please Share :-)

23.01.2022 Yesterday, Barney and I decided to book the ferry to Rottnest Island. Today, we spent the day enjoying the magnificent Island. We cycled around the island, enjoying the nature that Rottnest provides us and then we realised how lucky we are to live in beautiful Perth!... The stunning ocean, natural beauty and the simple things that life has to offer. Which made us realise the same thing about hearing and how much we take for granted. Its now February 2020 (celebrating 7 months since Hear and Spin started) and we are providing a service to 5 different aged care facilities. Its a privilege to be able to help those residents and their families.

22.01.2022 Last weekend, I was lucky to be part of the Starkey Hearing Australia Business Owners Meeting 2020 that took place in Sydney. I met other clinic owners from Melbourne, Sydney, the Gold Coast, Cairns and more! These meetings take place every year, and aim to educate hearing professionals about new hearing aid technology so we can help you and provide you with a better service.... I want to say thank you Starkey Hearing Australia for constantly working towards improving technology. Thank you for all your efforts in making a difference in people's lives.

22.01.2022 Lest we forget.

08.01.2022 Today, we were driving around Perth for in-house visits to provide hearing tests and aid adjustments, and we were blown away by the beautiful rainbow that showed up in the sky! It reminded us of the reason we choose the "ear" in our Hear and Spin logo - to bring the colours life has to offer back to people with hearing loss once they are provided with hearing solutions.

08.01.2022 To provide the best service to our clients, we are regularly updated with the latest technology from each manufacturer. It is very reassuring to know that hearing solutions are being offered to match the needs and lifestyles of each person. For example, being able to pair hearing aids to any type of smart phone; improvements for hearing in noisy situations; and not forgetting rechargeable devices - no more fiddling with small batteries!... Thank you, Unitron Australia, for today's education on your latest products!

08.01.2022 Today, as part of our commitment to providing an excellent hearing service to our aged care facilities, we have been doing staff training on hearing aid maintenance to make sure the carers understand the basics in taking care of hearing aids. In this photo, Barney is performing hands-on training to a group of carers at a local aged care facility.

06.01.2022 Congratulations to the GWS Giants for reaching the AFL Grand Final! The Giants of the ocean, blue whales, have an inner ear the size of a grapefruit (a human inner ear is about as big as a marble), and can hear other whales up to 800km away!!

05.01.2022 This has just arrived in the mail from Signia Hearing! The reason Im sharing it with you is the title that grabbed my attention: From stigma to statement.... How amazing that hearing aids are improving from a technology point of view: you can now recharge them for 3 hours and get 24 hours wear time! its now possible to connect them to a smart device and use them like Air Pods to stream music and phone calls! they actually look stylish and fashionable! With all that said, the main purpose of hearing aids is to help you to stay connected with the people you love through communication and the ability to hear clearly, and reduce background noise!

05.01.2022 Thank you, Emily from Phonak, who taught me all about their latest range of hearing aids - Paradise! These hearing aids are discreet, user friendly and provide crisp, natural sound!! Call us for more details

04.01.2022 Great to have the Scarborough Sunset Markets back on again Awesome job for putting this event together

04.01.2022 Congratulations to Richmond Football Club on getting to the AFL Grand Final. Tigers have the ability to hear prey in thick vegetation thanks to their ears on top of their head which can swivel around to pinpoint the source of a sound, much like a radar dish. Tigers can also hear sounds up to 60kHz (human ears only hear up to 20kHz) so they can hear the high pitched sounds of their prey moving and breathing.

03.01.2022 If you ever wondered what the symptoms of a vestibular disorder are... They include dizziness, vertigo (a spinning sensation), imbalance, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), fatigue, jumping vision, nausea/vomiting, hearing loss, anxiety, and cognitive difficulties. Some people have all these symptoms ... Vestibular Rehabilitation can make a big difference to people with inner ear balance problems Remember we are here to help
