22.01.2022 Good hearing health is essential to staying engaged and doing what we love. 1 in 10 people with untreated hearing loss suffer from depression. Treating hearing loss not only allows the person to hear their best, but it makes it easier to stay engaged, alert and active. As we start socialising with our loved ones again, make sure being there and being present means the same thing.

10.01.2022 Sorry we have been so quiet on here for the past few months.... I've been busy growing a tiny human! August "Augie" Aloysuis Bernsmann was born last month. We have been enjoying this special time as we adjust to life as a family of 4! Hearlix will be back open on Saturdays from October and then business as usual at Hearlix from November.

10.01.2022 What is a hearing health check-up? Just like scheduling your flu shot with your GP, your annual dental check or having an eye exam, your hearing health check-up should become part of your routine health maintenance. Hearing loss can be gradual, so an annual hearing check is important for you to schedule.

06.01.2022 I love this cartoon - it certainly put a smile on my face! On a serious note, if you have found yourself in a similar situation, it might be time for your annual hearing health check-up. Hearing loss isn't always an issue of volume, but more often than not an issue with clarity.

01.01.2022 How do I know if I have a high frequency hearing loss? High frequency hearing loss means high pitched sounds are harder to hear. It can affect anyone but is more common in older adults and those exposed to loud noises. Symptoms of a high frequency hearing loss:... - When people talk you feel you can hear, but not understand. That is, sounds are muffled, or it sounds as though people are mumbling. - Women and children’s voices are harder to hear. - You do not hear birds chirping. If you suspect you have a high frequency hearing loss, use our online hearing test here https://hubs.ly/H0rHpGw0
