25.01.2022 One of Heart180’s goals is to have a Defib in every Pharmacy across Australia by 2025! And for the general public to know that if anything goes wrong there is a Defib available with trained personnel ready to help. As you can see we are pushing forward with many pharmacists coming on-board this month!

25.01.2022 Great to have the backing of Gerry Harvey with Defibs in all of their Harvey Norman stores across Aust! The general public have had access to these life saving devices through their stores for 18months now! Lives have been saved because of this association between Heart180 & Harvey Norman..... 25.01.2022 Heart180 Defib Saves A Second Life! Noosa artist Jamie Ainslie's Thursday morning started off the same as it did every day, with a walk along the Noosa River. But his most recent stroll almost become his last. Tragedy struck moments when Mr Ainslie, 71, heart failed and he collapsed on the ground, hitting his head on the footpath.... A number of people immediately came to his aid to perform CPR while a woman rushed to retrieve one of our Heart180 defibs conveniently located at the nearby Boat House restaurant. Mr Ainslie's daughter Tori Aufderheide was very happy today to announce her father was alive and recovering well in Sunshine Coast University Hospital. She said if it wasn't for the passers-by & the defib her dad would have surely died. She said she "could not find the words" to say how thankful she was. Ironically we supplied the defib back in 2018 to the Rotary Club in Noosa that donated the device to the Boathouse on the Noosa river. It was used shortly after this to save another Qld man. So this is the second time this defib has saved a life! A record for Heart180! It's been a good day...

24.01.2022 Well done to Open 4 at Warriewood for not only having a Heart180 Defib but for letting the whole community know where it is with our Defib Located Here stickers!

24.01.2022 Welcome Gemma Dunkley and the team at Noraville Amcal Central Coast NSW to the #heart180..

23.01.2022 It makes sense that Manly has become a hotspot for defibrillators seeing I have lived around the area most of my life. After losing my mate Chucky from sudden cardiac arrest nearly 5 years ago at the end of one of my fitness classes at Manly Harbour, I really wanted to start at home by making this wonderful place as heart safe as possible. This has happened with the whole area coming on-board. We have Defibs in everywhere from small businesses, homes, gyms, schools, running... clubs & neighborhoods pitching in to get them as well! The survival rate from a sudden cardiac arrest in Aust is only 6%. But I’m sure Manly’s survival rate is better than this! Time to get other suburbs up to speed!

20.01.2022 Great to meet up with Kevin Figueiredo - Head of Enterprise, Risk & Safety for the Super Retail Group & get a Defib into Rebel Sports Head Office! Well done joining the #heart180army

18.01.2022 Heart180 use Defib stickers for cars & businesses to alert the general public that there’s a Defib close by. Twice this year the knowledge of one of our devices being in close proximity has saved two people’s lives! It’s great having a Defib but also important for other to know where they are...

16.01.2022 Proud to be changing the narrative on Defibs! We now distribute a lot of devices to peoples homes! As we educate more people about their importance to save a life from a heart related incident the more we see them getting into peoples homes & cars. Early days but momentum is definitely building!

05.01.2022 Classic story about a Tassie man dressed as the HULK saves a man with CPR & a Defib. Thanks #heart180army member Grant Howe for the heads up with this classic save!

04.01.2022 Great having Greg Page (Yellow Wiggle) visit the Heart180 warehouse today. You may remember Greg suffering a sudden cardiac arrest on-stage earlier in the year when the Wiggles were raising money for the fire relief campaign. Well he has joined me in raising awareness for more defibs in the community, the need for people to learn CPR & know where their nearest Defib is situated.... It’s great having his help & support. Ironically this is the model Defib that started his heart up! And it’s Yellow! Meant to be...

04.01.2022 2020 has been a tough year for most but there’s been some people that have been given a second chance of life! Heart180 Defibs has been involved in 6 people having their hearts re-started this year. The most recent was Noosa resident, Jamie Ainsley, 71 who was taking a walk along the Noosa river last month.... Others that suffered a sudden cardiac arrest & survived include - another two walkers, a 60 year old man in a rowing boat, a golfer putting on the 15th green at his local club & a gentleman on a treadmill at his gym. Look forward to more positive stories in 2021...
