19.01.2022 Original portraits and commissions... One of the reasons I love portrait commissions so much is that they are all individual, they are only limited by the images provided... sometimes I get to produce versions of photographs taken by other talented people, and its great when they share their work to let me do so. I also wanted to share a little of the difference between an original and a print.... With an original I try to make sure it is just that, truly a one of... like this one! However, if you like the image, the card and prints are available - and you get the image on the right :) My prints are all limited run, can be printed on canvas, are printed from hi-res scans, and I check every one to ensure they reflect the original drawing. However, if its truly an original, one of, that you want, I will make it so :) #heartfeltartbyjo #centrewayarcade #portraitartist

I hope that I portray their life and love in their portrait, and always respect when people dont wish to see the portrait on social media. 08.01.2022 To those of you who know what Ive been through not just the last couple of weeks but the last six years, building myself back up, swallowing my pride to park in a disability permit spot without guilt, you will understand why it is so upsetting to find my car like this in a hospital car park with no note or contact number. It may have happened last night at St Lukes, or possibly at KMart, I'm fairly sure the driver of the white car would know that they did it. However, I woul...d like to thank the person that did it... because it has pushed me to get the vehicle displaying my art so that everyone around Launceston and anywhere I drive can see it. If you are the person that did this, how about coming and buying a print or two, and/or paying for the damage caused to a vehicle legally parked in a disability parking bay. 03.01.2022 I'm really pleased with how the beautiful Maggie turned out... Thanks to Damon for providing the photographs. Those local to Launceston may remember that Maggie went missing just before Easter... maybe it was fate because I was just about to start drawing a sulphur cockatoo. Rather than draw an 'unknown' instead I decided to ask Damon if I could draw a local bird ;) Its a pleasure to do drawings like these, Maggie will be available as cards and prints soon and also on some ot...her products online until I can reopen the shop.
