24.01.2022 These children are getting an education that they could not otherwise receive. There is either no school available or the schools say no to them attending. Our trained teachers and team give up so much to give so much out to the kids. This week in our Child Development Centres in India. Children are re-writing their life stories and we know forever futures are being turned around. 11.01.2022 One of our Forever Mums posted this during the week... too good not to pass around. Thanks Carolyne This week is national adoption week. To say our lives have been turned upside down by adoption, shaken and stirred, is an understatement. At times it has stretched us beyond what we thought we could give out and endure, especially in the process to bring Alex home, but we have grown and changed as a family and been loved and supported by our community of family and friends. So ...tonight, I have some questions for you: 1.Could you be the forever family to a child who needs a home? 2. Could you be a foster carer who provides a safe space for children to be loved and grow? 3. Could you support another family who have adopted by being a safe space for them, to support them in dinners, love, prayers, care for other siblings, babysitting so the adults can have some R&R? 4. Could you support a foster carer by providing meals, helping to clean in between children in their home, encouraging and praying? There are so many ways you can help children as they become part of a forever family......is there anything you could do to help? So many people tell us that Alex is a lucky boy, but we are the lucky ones.....we get to see the greatest gift of his life unfold, his resilience as he overcomes so many obstacles and to experience such innocent and lavish love from this boy who has never been able to take love and safety for granted. 09.01.2022 One of the girls we've been helping for many years to gain her education has gone on to study nursing. I love hearing how now she wants to help even more people herself. She says maybe she could study psychology or nutrition so she can help more people than those who come to her ward as a nurse. 08.01.2022 So good that our child development centres in India are beginning to open again. These children don't have access to government education so they come to our centres where they receive good care and attention. We are still helping families with food parcels as many still don't have employment and so their pantries are bare.
