23.01.2022 One year ago I became a qualified Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapist (YAY!) then Covid19 hit (BOO!). I laid low for most of 2020 but am so excited and so proud of myself for kicking off the year with workshops that I am able to offer. Heartjoy workshops are created with the intention to offer a space for relaxation and creativity. It is time you gift yourself away from your daily commitments. It is time for you to unwind, relax, create and connect. It is an opportuni...ty to meet other likeminded souls. While stress can create pivotal learning opportunities in our lives, when we sit in it for long periods of time it can be very damaging to our mental and physical health. Creativity, whether it be painting, cooking, gardening or making music, allows you to focus on something that sooths your mind and body, allowing you to move into the relaxation mode. It encourages self development and self esteem. It relieves stress and tension. What do you do for yourself to unwind and relax? It's such a beautiful day! 17.01.2022 I have had such a beautiful day! Easter Sunday and I had a lovely sleep in on this gorgeous rainy day in Brisbane. I’ve read a book, well maybe it was 2 pages .... I discovered some awesome programs on Gaia, filling my mind with awesomeness. Watched some YouTube clips on painting styles, came up with some ideas for future workshops and if I can figure out how to do it I’ll fill you in. Had a lovely FaceTime with my Mumsie who I realised, quite shockingly how much I look like her! Check out the photo. Sorry Mumsie, I had to share. And this evening just sitting here with Princess Penny listening to some beautiful music watching someone on YouTube do some paint pouring.....mesmerising ! 12.01.2022 Last night I decided to do a bit of art journaling which I haven’t done for a long time. I love my little books that I create in and it feels so good to have them out of the cupboard I finished her off today but I think I may just keep going with my small pieces of art Wishing you all a very Happy Easter. 02.01.2022 A beautiful group of ladies sharing the afternoon with me today at our Strength and Grace workshop at Soul Spectrum. I’m so honoured and grateful to be able to share space and time with them all. Gorgeous pieces created by gorgeous ladies
