Better things come to those who Believe and the Best things come to those who don’t give up Many of you know that Yardan came to me because he would bolt, hurting his previous owner quite badly. I never expected to ride this beautiful boy when I purchased him, just build our bond with liberty. You are worthy of a good life , even if you have made mistakes. 4. Each day is a fresh opportunity to create the life you dream of. 5. Don’t give a about what people think of you, be authentic to your soul. 6. Sometimes painful things can teach us lessons we need to learn. 7. 19.01.2022 Monday’s message: It’s not how we fly but how we fall, have courage and be kindI had a bad fall off Bella last week, we came into a jump and took it awkwardly resulting in a crash and I fell and landed on the jump.. I hurt bad. Not in any state to jump back on like we are told to as a child...this moment could define me if I let it. It wasn’t my horses fault, we all make mistakes.. the lesson here is to recognise that a moment in time can give us strength even after a fall. ...Once I was able to get back in the saddle a couple of days later I accepted the moment had happened and was kind to her to give her courage to try again... we jumped it again this time beautifully, recreating the moment, even through the pain I still felt. 09.01.2022 Heartland Equestrian is currently seeking a working student to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in classical dressage, jumping, liberty, and general horse care. We offer the opportunity to learn and assist in the specialized care of a range of horses and breeds. Working students will have access to weekly lessons and there is also the possibility of trail riding out, exercising, warming... up/cooling down horses, and attending events and photo shoots for the right person. Responsibilities include, feeding, handling horses, turn in/turn out, grooming, tacking, untacking, farm care, and arena maintenance, social media posts and video recording. We prefer individuals with experience in the field, but are happy to consider those with a great desire to learn. Seeking applicants who are team players, have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, good work ethic, people skills, and a great love for horses a must! Applicant must be able to travel to Buln Buln, Victoria. Hours and Days will vary and are negotiable and will also consider school age students.
