24.01.2022 These guys are the forerunner to today’s speedway race cars. Check them out and be sure to take a look at Shayne’s work on his Facebook page.

23.01.2022 Something else for the history buffs. Program cover featuring Ross Prictor in the Alan Jones owned racer from the 1982 Indianapolis Stakes at Bendigo International Raceway with a couple of page extracts for your entertainment.

22.01.2022 SEASON UPDATE. Heartland Raceway Moama was due to kick off the 2020/2021 season on Saturday October 24th with the SRA Sprintcars, however with the current restrictions/guidelines in place between the various Government bodies, Health organizations and Speedway Australia this have proved to be an unworkable position for Heartland Raceway so venue owner operator David Roberts has been left with no option but to cancel the first part of the 2020/2021 speedway calendar set down f...or the Moama venue. All programmed events pre Christmas will be cancelled, however it is intended that the season will kick off on February 13th 2021 pending easing of restrictions which include border restrictions. The border restrictions are just one of the issues facing the speedway as a large majority of its competitor base, families, officials, spectators and volunteers are from Victoria and the Melbourne areas. David is optimistic that the events programmed for 2021 will go ahead as he has programmed both SRA and the AllStar sprintcars, Australian Modified sedan championship, V8 Dirt modified title and the inaugural North-South 50 for Super sedans. Stay tuned over the coming weeks as updates become available. The team at Heartland raceway wish all competitors, families, officials, volunteers, spectators and the broader speedway community to stay safe and healthy in this difficult time.

17.01.2022 What’s happening at Heartland Raceway? Well with shorter daylight hours the weather is starting to turn with colder and wetter days we would normally be heading into our off season and hibernating. David Roberts is working away behind the scenes with various competitor groups putting together a race calendar for the 2020/2021 season. David can confirm that a number of sprintcars events have been locked away i...n addition to the 2021 SSA Australian Title for the Modified Production sedans which is set down for the long weekend in March 2021. Modified production sedans are arguably the most popular and competitive Sedan category in the country. Also on the calendar for Easter 2021 will be the Inaugural North South 50 for Super Sedans unfortunately this seasons race was a non event due to the covid19 however I’m sure that the competitors will be eager to get involved in this event as indicated by the interest from the Super Sedan fraternity. Stay tuned for further updates and calendar release as they become availability. See more

17.01.2022 Official Release Tritech Lubricants VMPA Series For Immediate Release February 18 2020... IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THE LINE FOR FINAL 2 ROUNDS OF 2019/20 TRITECH LUBRICANTS SERIES After an action packed opening five rounds, we have seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows for the drivers. Race leaders have wrecked, parts have failed, tempers have flared, and the celebrations have been second to none. All of which shows no signs of stopping, which makes the final two rounds of the series so exciting. The points battle is a grid-lock between current leader Brock Atkins who ignited an engine in Parramatta and had to commandeer his brother Todd's car to retain control on 447 points. Meanwhile 2018/19 series winner Kye Walters, Australia #1, 2020 Kings Royal Winner and current second place standings holder continues his late season charge toward the front sitting on 405 points. Its a 3-car battle for the final spot on the podium with the ultra consistent Andrew Blackwell aboard the N7 who locks it down currently on 315 points. The second team tightly contending the third place battle is Brody Chrystie in the AX32 who up until an engine problem resulting in missing round 5, was inside that top two battle. He seeks redemption with the problems amended on 305 points. In his maiden VMPA season, Super Sedan pilot Brad Wicks has been making his appearance known from the very first outing. Driving his iconic Bendigo 17 colours, Wicks has given the Modified Sedan young guns a real run for their money, leaving nothing on the table on 297 points. This Saturday night, February 22 will be when the round six of seven will go down. Hosted by Heartland Raceway Moama, which has played a huge part in some of the best Modified Sedan action to date. An ultra-racey surface that is full of passing, thrilling multi lane racing, and elbows up action. The Tritech Lubricants VMPA will run alongside the feature Eureka Garages Sprintcar Series running at Heartland Raceway also, creating a blockbuster for fans who will fill the arena. Can Kye Walters edge one step closer to going back-to-back series victories hot off his round 5 win? Or will Brock Atkins keep his head cool, lock down a solid points haul and maintain the series lead. Along with 20 other hard charging peddlers, its anyone's race for round 6 at Heartland. 16.01.2022 Easter 2020 is set down for the 2nd annual Heartland Hustle for the production sedans. The production sedans will be supporting the super sedans in their North South Super 50 although there may be some debate about who’s supporting who as the production sedans put on some fantastic racing with a 25 lap non stop feature last Easter.

03.01.2022 HEARTLAND RACEWAY MOAMA. This Easter long weekend would have seen the running of the inaugural North South 50 for super sedans along with the second running of the Heartland Hustle for production sedans at Moama's Heartland Raceway. Unfortunately due to circumstances that nobody saw coming this weekend along with our life styles has been put on hold for a period of time. The North South 50 was borne out of the success of the Provac Poultry Services 2019 SSA National Super Sed...an Title so for those of us who enjoy the occasional trip down memory lane I have posted a number of photos for your enjoyment. The super sedans were ably supported by the production sedans in their inaugural Heartland Hustle feature race taken out by Jacob Mills. The weekend was set up to be something pretty special right from the sold out Drivers welcome and Calcutta on the Thursday night through to the Saturday night feature finish with a flag to flag 40laps. A couple of stats from that weekend both the Australian Super Sedan title and the Heartland Hustle for production sedans were no stop flag to flag races. The super sedans ran the 40 laps of the 510 meter venue in 12.45 with Matty Pascoe taking the checker flag whilst the production sedans completed the 25 lap journey in 8.44. In heat races Adam Beechy set a new one lap record of 16.70 with the best speed of 110kmh whilst a number of other drivers also completed laps in the sub 17 second bracket. The production sedans also setting the pace with Jacob Mills setting a lap of 20.49 with a best speed of 90kmh. David and Helen Roberts along with all the crew at Heartland Raceway wish you all a safe and happy Easter and most importantly at this time stay healthy and we will see you all in the near future. A big shout out to Shayne Wright, Napier photography and Winding Creek Photography for the photos.

02.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE. Heartland Raceway wishes to advise all patrons, competitor groups and volunteers that the remainder of the 2019/2020 season has been cancelled due to the recently imposed Government sanctions in relation to the Covid-19 virus. Heartland Raceway has also taken into account advice from various competitor groups along with comm...unications with Speedway governing bodies to come to this decision. Whilst the easy thing to do would have been to ride out the storm Heartland has the best interests of its patrons, competitors and volunteers interests in mind hence the decision to make the call early. For those competitors who have paid their nomination fees and transponder fees for the Super Sedan 50 North South and the Production sedan Heartland Hustle your fees will be refunded in the coming weeks, the Super Sedan 50 North South will again be programmed for the 2020/2021 season. David Roberts wishes to thank all speedway groups for their support and looks forward to the 2020/2021 season. See more

01.01.2022 Granite Park Raceway Seymour. Here's a snap shot for the Paul Tindal fans taken at Seymour and if my memory serves me correct it was at the one and only meeting held under portable lights. I have no idea who the driver of the ACT 6 is maybe someone out there can tell us. Enjoy.
