20.01.2022 The internal layout of the barn was designed around a timber clad box. The structure in the centre of the home houses the stairs, the bar, a powder room with a 9 meter high glass ceiling, a bench seat and the walk in pantry. 16.01.2022 The Locker room Games room loo #HEARTLYurbanbarn The locker room at the barn is like a mud room on roids. Super sexy and moody whether the door is open or closed and packed full of easy access storage and seating, so the kids, and the big kids, can kick off muddy sports shoes and stow away all the paraphernalia. Positioned near the entry and just around the corner from the games / pool room which has its own powder / change room. All very handy. #goals Happy Friday everyone. xo @ Heartly

Birthday girl @laurenorkay had a fun morning visiting stone suppliers including jaw dropping @glux for #HEARTLYechuca S T A G E F O U R, were ready! 05.01.2022 You dont have to spend a fortune to create a beautiful functional space. But you do need to know where to spend and where to save. The kitchen at our Martha Cove project is predominately white laminate but its balanced and layered with a soft grey custom v groove panel, white painted textural oak, a leafy green view and a lofty pitched ceiling. All of these elements add character and make the space sing, the plain white laminate could have been a much more expensive custom satin 2 pack paint and no one would have noticed. The basement at #HEARTLYrichmondone includes the second living room, bar, laundry and powder room. Natural light will flood into the space via a glass ceiling light well on the northern boundary. 01.01.2022 Internal reconfiguration and complete renovation of this 1970’s architectural gem is under full swing in Brighton East. There were many timeless features to the original design including tall ceilings and floor to ceiling windows and doors. But the house was divided up and segregated. We’ve enhanced the entrance foyer, created an almost sunken lounge and have opened the house up, connecting the key interior living zones to the outdoors. The new proportions and flow through the home are spacious and well balanced. And (the critical 2020 design detail!) we’re adding a substantial home office with a floor big view over the private front garden.
