25.01.2022 The Music and hospitality industry are still suffering so much!!!! Most places are trying to do the right thing and adhere to restrictions but some restrictions easing, like for football, this is clearly unfair. The people doing the right thing are still restricted yet read this story. so many people can relate to this on some level, I know I definitely can.... Most of us have worked only in the industry at least over 20 years, it is our income and our life. We can’t just go out and easily get another job. Even a previous job, may now require new qualifications or certificates. Everyone is trying to stay strong and hold on to hope but time just keeps going by!

19.01.2022 EASING OF RESTRICTIONS ON OUTDOOR DINING AND MUSIC PERFORMANCES IN NSW From Friday 16 October, restrictions at NSW hospitality venues will be eased to allow o...ne patron for every two square metres in outdoor areas (previously one person per four square metres). This means cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs can open to more patrons in outdoor spaces. Businesses wishing to take advantage of the relaxed restrictions must use electronic methods, like QR codes, to record and keep contact details. Under changes effective immediately, 500 people will be able to attend outdoor seated music performances and rehearsals, subject to the four square metre rule and people being seated. This is the only information the Government has provided at this time. Labor has been pushing for further support for venues and the music industry and I am pleased the Government has acted on our calls.
